His singing of his songs sounds like hes sitting on the toilet and having a struggle negotiating a rather large and solidly stuck difficult poo.
I am because he's such an interesting character ... ... the audience look a bit puzzled but I think it'll build up.
I was a bit puzzled, just seemed a bit flat. Think you might be right about it building, last song was a bit more uptempo.
I was right on the money with this Vile what was allowed on stage, “ heard you want your ****in country back “ an actual lyric applauded and praised by the Palestine flag wavers. Along with another load of bile about Israel, imagine if someone went on stage to praise Israel or America, there would be outrage. Wouldn’t be allowed though at Champagne Socialist headquarters
What a weird way of looking at things. I didn't realise you have to drink champagne to speak out against things that are wrong in the world. Just sit back and enjoy the music lad.
Aye I've been watching the match. Might stick caribou on at 11. Giving shed seven a go. Only want to listen to 3 songs though
I can take it or leave it with Radiohead. Never really been that into them, although I've never properly tried. If you know what I mean. Some of my best mates worship them though.
The line up this year is poor mind. Plus there's a gap next year ( I think ) Can't beat going to see live music especially at a festival
I’ll go against the grain, Neil Young is and has tonight been fantastic. A proper headliner - no gimmicks/frills (no fancy lighting, dancers, back screens etc), just spot on musicianship and a great back catalogue. Been a load I’ve enjoyed today. Hadn’t really seen anything of The Ezra Collective but they were really impressive and enjoyable and the Nova Twins were entertaining for something a bit different.
The lineup on paper was poor I agree but, as always with Glastonbury being so big, there’s alway great stuff to be found. Regardless of your tastes.
Agree, think hes been brilliant. His voice isn't what it was, but the blokes 79. I missed the first 10 - 15 minutes, hoping he didn't play keep on rockin in the free world in that time. Love the compact stage set he has as well.
