Yeh I guess the verification doesn't need to happen until we get to opening day and we see what squad we've got and how good these players are.

Until then i'll trust we're going to fill the positions in the right way.

Such a nonsense throwaway statement IMO. Like who on earth would think this is the only deal we want in the next few weeks?

He's put that in to make it seem like he's across the other deals but he's not because we don't leak ****.

I need a centre mid as well please. My one slight nagging fear is that we're spending big in other positions because our new centre mid is an ageing free transfer from Ajax.

Really need the outgoings to start building up as well. And the contracts.

Next week is shaping up to be a busy week hopefully. But I thought that this time last week :D

I want Alan Browne gone (sorry Al) so that the gap in the squad opens up for an additional midfielder beyond the Jobe replacement.
 
Honestly I really liked Vanat. Their side seemed a bit disjointed which hurts attackers but overall he looked solid. Any big purchase is always a risk though

Reading between the lines, if the fee is out there then it must just be the payment structure they are negotiating, hopefully anyway

I trust others' views on Vanat much more than my own as I've seen very little and didn't watch him in the u21s.

Only reason I'm less excited about him than the others is probably because I think we already have two premier league quality strikers but, in my opinion, have zero premier league quality right wingers or centre backs. (Ballard close)
