Gooners 1st 5 games include, Man U away, Man City home and Liverpool away

im not quite sure if it’s an advantage or disadvantage tbh

sometimes I think, especially regarding ourselves, that we are probably at our best early season then the slumps always follow, more times than not. Our players don’t have true leaders so I tend to rely on their energy and hunger and our lot probably excited for the season start so imo our best chance to play our hoodoo teams n rivals on a psychological level and being up for it energy.

Frank gets to start and finish at home.

It’s quite a decently spaced out fixture list to be honest. Only November is a sort of a big game cluster with Chelsea, Utd and Arsenal in a row.

First away game at City, if they go deep into the club world cup, playing them early may be a good thing!

Enough about him getting the jobs and then the boot.
What about the fixtures ... ??

I will "season compass" the fixture schedule
(so you have the objective rankings truth of it) .

Also note we have yet to be given the CL group stage fixtures.

I wouldn't expect any different, but it's like listening to two politicians.
Saying all the right things, yet it's all very cultivated and managed.
It's unusual to hear from Levy like this though, especially prior to anything from Frank.

If you take into account that we can stay in all the cups , we could have 19 games between the 1st week of December and the 1st week of February according to Ali Gold , Oye Baldie get that cheque book open pronto

Just in time for the Africa Cup of Nations, which is in Morocco this year.
We'd currently lose two players, but they're both midfielders, which isn't ideal.

Nominal effort in the CL group stages
(except to avoid humiliation by the "big fish" )
means plenty rotation even with the current squad.

For me, it clearly signals that COYS Daniel has no intention of removing his hands from any levers. VV is 'his man'...they're "joined at the hip" in this 'partnership' and Daniel's not done holding us back.

So, more of the same...just as a double act, rather than with Daniel as a solo performer. VV is there to do the stuff Daniel doesn't care for, leaving Tenacious D free to do...

...something worth £3m a year (plus bonus)...:steam:

All in all, it appears extremely disappointing...like the passing of the baton from one Tory leader, to another, who's going to make **** all difference to anything meaningful. A change in presentation is all.

More Daniel, just hiding behind an ex-gooner shield.

Fuuuuucckkk!!!

exactly this

Levy to me always gives off extremely uncomfortable energy when it’s to do with football talk…like he’s reading a script.

Ali Gold's saying that Scott Munn's been placed on the ever-euphemistic gardening leave.
Paratici is to return to the role in the near future, apparently.

They missed out Solanke and Maddison (16) as well as Johnson (again, olé, olé) and Kulusevski (18).
Didn't realise that Son was only one goal behind Big Chiv, though. Super Cup winner? <whistle>

The new away shirt launch today with Son as one of the main models wearing the kit , is this a sign that he's staying or a red herring , I was in New York Times Square and the place was plasterd with images of Bale in the new club shirt , that was a good omen ......
