After a first and huge season of Swiss Super League, under the colors of Yverdon Sport, which is unfortunately relegated at the end of the play-offs, Franco-Malian midfielder Moussa Baradji should change his airs this summer.

According to Africafoot information, Sunderland contacted the representatives of the 24-year-old player.
Looking for reinforcements for their great return to the gotha of English football, the Blacks Cats hope to find an agreement with Moussa Baradji.

Moussa Baradji followed by several clubs? His entourage makes the suspense last
According to our sources, the player's profile is very pleasing to Régis Le Bris, the French coach of Sunderland. On the other hand, it will be necessary to pay nearly 3 million euros to be able to attach the services of the "Magic Left" of Yverdon Sport whose contract runs until June 30, 2026.

Author of an exceptional season on a personal level, with 4 goals and 3 assists in 27 games played in the league with Yverdon Sport, Moussa Baradji has already been approached by several European clubs this summer. Fiorentina, Parma AC, Torino FC, FC Basel and Celtic Glasgow would be after him. Galatasaray is also one of the player's suitors, as announced exclusively by Africafoot in April.

Thus, it will now be difficult for Yverdon Sport to keep its Franco-Malian midfielder for a long time, recruited last summer for 250,000 euros from the modest formation of Legnago, playing in the Italian Serie C.
Reminds me of Abdoulaye Doucoure

Never heard of Baradji until 10 minutes ago. Quick YouTube and he looks like he's got the exact attributes we need. Pace and power.

Massive step up in quality but if we bring him in to fill out the squad, ie replace Browne and Samed, that's fine by me.

Sunderland are in talks with Sassuolo over Armand Lauriente.

Journalist followed by Romano

Lauriente used to play for Lorient B under RLB

Right footed left winger. Very quick. 26 years old

Be massive this, 18G 6A's last season, played in the top flights of italy and france his whole career bar last season.

Rated at €15m on transfermarkt, Marseille and Roma want him too

Adama Traoré fast a foock, no end product most of the time. Nicky Summerbee, beat players with skill and pin points delivery.

Virtually impossible to stop despite having only one move.

Not interested in going past two defenders or cutting inside for a shot …

… just the same predictable cross almost every time.

Defenders knew exactly what he’d do but couldn’t stop him <laugh>

Pace and power is required in the PL

Adama Traore would also walk into our side with absolute ease, poor example.
Why would he? Does he fit our style of play? No.
He's played for Barcelona with some of the best players in the world and his fantastic pace and strength didn't set the world alight.

Poor example, No.

Some of the best players in world never had pace and strength. Zidane, Figo, Messi, Valdarama, Pirlo, Beckham, Best, Gascoigne, Keane, Viera, Cantona, Toure, Quinn, O'Shea, Vidic, Campbell, Shearer, Rooney, Petite. The list goes on.

Like steed played at walking football pace but was so hard to take the ball off, still remember his double nutmeg against Man City, played with a cigar in his mouth, loved watching him

Swapped Russell for him didn't we?
One of the best swaps, up there with Altidore and Defoe
