Doesn’t Marti have a habit of not staying at clubs very long. With that kind of reputation plus not having huge success with us it’s not surprising he’s found himself in limbo.

And l thought Days of Our Lives & The Young & Restless were extremely slow moving dramas but we who are, QPR ….. are leaders in this field.

Hope we can finally settle on the new manager and he finds his new lodgings suitable.

It’s been six weeks since Cifuentes surprised everyone by trying and failing to secretly jump ship. I think six weeks is an appropriate amount of time to work through a shortlist based on availability, willingness, and fit for the club, do due diligence and interview thoroughly. Much better than appointing the first available old hack in a panic.

Let’s hope Stephan works out, he’s certainly got a better track record than Cifuentes. All he has to do is get more than a 30% win rate to be an upgrade.

In any other industry if the MD was placed on gardening leave suddenly it would be good going to get the replacement sorted in a few weeks, as appears to have been the case in reality if not officially. Football is odd.

Stephan will get my support, Cus, just as Cifuentes did initially.

It won't be blind, unconditional support, though.
