Seems obvious from even this 20-30 mins that he should be the central midfield lynch pin. They’ll waste the lad if they insist he’s an attacking midfielder.

From how I saw it, looked like he had license to roam. He was left then right deep just about anywhere.
I have never watched Dortmund before so don't know how they normally play.
Yeah just felt like he was initially shunted out wide to accommodate Nmecha and Sabitzer and even after that was changed he was still less likely to be the one kicking off possession. Started getting involved more centrally as the game went on though. Would imagine that they’ll realise what’s up and ensure he’s involved more if they want to maximise his ability.
Watching this one just to get eyes on Mastantuano.
