Anything happened today?
Want Neil Cutler as GK coach, highly rated. That possibly would mean Sam Johnstone joining but that feels like a very loose link.

Charlie Gray will join if we plan to give him minutes but he has Championship options.

Both from Nixon so make of that what you will.

It was Sunday, Father's Day, Israel bombed Iran and vice versa, plus I had to take down a large beech tree that was damaged in the storm ...

... sad because it was healthy but leaning over the road and we didn't want to be sued if it came down on the postie or whoever.

I'm having a rum in honour of the tree.

So Johnstone and cutler to stay at wolves

Charlie gray to join Sheffield United. Got it cheers

If we do manage to get Charlie gray and Lennon miller that means we’ve started to attract the best young talent from across the UK.

It would be a small change, in some ways, but really significant in others.

Miller and Rigg together would be a form of wonderful madness ...

... the football equivalent of Ludovico Einaudi.

Rangers almost certainly are a bigger club than Sunderland but that doesn’t matter one bit. They’re not as atttactive option to play for right now and any rangers player would give their left arm to join Sunderland this summer

Quite so. How can we measure "bigger" now? When will Scottish clubs ever bridge an ever widening gap?

Rangers and Celtic are huge huge clubs like, the standard up here is poor but Rangers are a bigger club that we are imo

Yes, but, in what sense, other than historical and reach?

Does this count? Does it matter now, when they cannot compete for players with Brentford, Bournemouth or Palace, whose combined attendance numbers might not equal Rangers'?

History is a big factor. But it is not decisive in a players mind. He wants to play at the highest level he can, earn the most money he can, and get the most exposure he can.

Sadly, for Scottish clubs, that is increasingly unlikely to be in Scotland. There is nothing I can see that will reverse, or even slow down this trend.

Everyone has a different opinion of how they view things , I am quite relaxed leaving it to KLD ,Speakman , the recruitment team and last but not least RLB as in general they have done well taking us from L1 to the Premier as quickly as we can have imagined . They deserve our trust !!!
This for me, but I appreciate our posters recommendations of who is available. Also the moves as they happen so we can see the value of the market and hence limits to our dreams... says he who believes we have a £200m war chest <laugh> <laugh>
