Ah okay, I didn't know that. Yeah doubt he'll get life. The high profile nature of the case shouldn't influence his sentence, but it probably will.
Right. I doubt he'll only get found guilty of that though. Like I say 2 years is a minimum for wounding with intent.
It's complicated - personally I hope he is put away for a very long time - but the defence is obviously going to say that this is a driving offence and that he did not get into his car with any 'intent' to wound or hurt anyone ... Hopefully the 'multiple counts' will be enough to get a custodial sentence that reflects the seriousness of 'the crime' ...
As I said earlier, the law itself is the problem - bloke causes severe, possibly life changing, injuries to multiple people - could get 2 years - but if one should die he would potentially be looking at a life sentence ...
Swerving to drive directly towards people might undermine that defence mind. Not sure why you're mentioning the multiple counts when you think he'll only be found guilty of the driving one? I think it's incredibly unlikely he's found not guilty of all offences bar the driving one personally but we'll see.
He should have jumped out the car and molested a kid. That would have ensured a low sentence. #JudgesAreNonces
Absolute ages ago mate, right back to when Pete got doxxed. Although doxxed is disputable because I think he always used his real name, probably more stalked over his online stuff, from employment to sexual preferences. Hence a line had to be drawn in the sand.
I was surprised they gave his address out yesterday, I assume his family has been moved, I heard he's got three kids, although I don't know the ages. Probably grown up kids if he's 53.
Are you currently competing for the Premier League though? Honestly, at no point in the last few years have I ever thought you were going to win it. If we'd beat you a couple of weeks back and finished 2nd it wouldn't have changed the fact we were never actually in the race. I was conflicted about our end of season position and honestly I think I'd have prefered to finish 6th and be in a competition we could have had a go at winning. I think the Sky TV dream of making lots of money is gobbled up too readily by fans who don't attend games and love the prestige of being on TV and talked about. I have no hesitation in saying I'd prefer Chelseas or Tottenhams European season over Arsenal, Liverpool, Villas or Man Citys. I may even prefer Man Utds, getting to a final is exciting even if you lose.
I've been peddling the film rights around various studios and am waiting on offers ... Brendan Fraser lined up to play Saxton and Sucky in with a chance of the Mistress O role...
