I believe so. Which would be a shame but again, just others in front and another one who doesn't seem to want to hang around and graft for the opportunity.
Hopefully we can keep his brother, as he's meant to be unreal

I agree there's a few ahead of him who aren't much older so while it's sad to see good prospects leave, we won't be able to keep them.all

I’m loving all the camaraderie after being promoted.
I know, my bad for my role in it

Just took exception to some of the comments being made about people's previous comments that were made in the heat of the game

But it's done now, no point us rehashing it

The main thing and the thing we all wanted WE ARE IN THE PREMIER LEAGUE

I’m loving all the camaraderie after being promoted.
I love how much the footballing world is happy to have us back, felt like such a huge moment like the weight of an entire city lifted when the ball rolled in, hope we can carry it on next season, tough very tough but this club loves to do the unexpected

I’m thinking we’ll be the surprise package next season RLB & KS combining with new signings and lads back from injury. Top 12.

I think Ogusunyi might be away - heard he's leaving in the summer
I believe so. Which would be a shame but again, just others in front and another one who doesn't seem to want to hang around and graft for the opportunity.

Where he meant to be going though? Because if he goes to an established Premier league club (which is where he has been linked previously) it tells you it's bollocks about his pathway being blocked!

Some people are acting more like stroppy teenagers who, if anything is said that they don’t like, throw their hands in the air and go to extremes. People shouting ‘Oh great, so now we’re being told what to do and can only post anything positive’, is like Kevin storming off to his bedroom, slamming the door and shouting ‘I hate you and I wish I’d never been born’.

They don't seem to even notice that lots of posters have said they're put off posting because of the needless digs, negativity and angst..

Not even when the match thread creator comes on week after week, asking for people to respect the effort he's put in, do a few stop and think.

The match threads are one of the best things on this forum and this one is likely to be the last.

That really doesn't seem to make people step back and have a think. As long as they get to post exactly what they want, which they see as vitally important, that's what matters to them. They honestly seem to believe that posting how bored they are at the game, how they always know better than the manager and what time they left simply must be said.

In my opinion, to which I'm just as entitled as anyone else to post, that's the kind of repetitive pointless drivel that people are talking about, not negative comments at all ...

... but rather than think for a second, some people will deliberately misunderstand what's been clearly stated and have a massive strop.

I wonder which one will take the time, effort and care to post the match threads next season.

Love the optimism mate, will snap your hands off for 4th bottom :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Being realistic that's a fair point and we all know the PL is going to be extremely challenging, but this club continues to exceed expectations. The manager came into a mess of a club, suffered injuries and other setbacks, not to mention some intense criticism from some supporters. Yet he's kept his head and guided a very young squad to the Premier League.

I'm not suggesting we'll storm the PL but I'm sure plans were already in place before kick off on Saturday. RLB had a day off and went straight back to work before going off for a break. The club isn't going up burdened with a massive debt, or expensively bought Championship level players, as many clubs do. We have a dynamic squad, some of whom will now have to be used more sparingly but have good momentum.

We've already signed one player, Le Fée, who's better than some players already playing in the PL, now we'll find out who else is capable. And there's bound to be signings and departures which will hopefully improve us without affecting that team spirit. I just hope players are given a chance and not written off too quickly as Mayenda, Mundle, Hume, etc were ...

... I know it's hard for some people but sometimes you just have to believe in the club and trust what they're trying to do.

What I seriously don't get is why, on a match thread, people have to keep going on about how bored they are and why the other team are playing better. Everyone knows the other team are playing better ffs we just don't have to repeat it every five minutes and explain why the manager is useless.

People keep coming on to say they're sickened off with all the whinging but they're ignored because the moaners just can't/won't stop. Almost every match thread ends up being derailed by this shyte even though RTB has asked for it to stop ...

... to the point whereby he's said he just can't be bothered to do more next season, when the moaners will be in their element.

These people NEVER start threads of their own, for likeminded people, because they know there'd be the same half dozen repeating the same things. Instead they come onto other threads whining about every bloody totally obvious thing ...

... the 'Non-Sunderland Games' thread gets the same moans about Sunderland as does almost every other.

Even on a thread, of mine, that said it was was daft optimists only there are post pulling the club down.

Seriously mate, how hard is it to grasp that people just don't want the relentless boring and humourless drivel?
You have the answers. People can post if they want, they dont have to. He creates the thread for Sunderland fans, arsehole or not. I got jumped on for saying one thing, which I dont mind, but was then told I'm "always posting negative stuff" when the only reason I came on here was because the discussion was truly depressing OTR.

I only post on match threads and transfer threads, I cant say for anything else.

It’s going to be my last day on the matter. I think you’re a great poster but there’s a common theme of you trying to tell people what they should and shouldn’t post

if a negative comment about the game which at the time were absolutely true derails a discussion thread then I’m not sure what to think.

you suggested people leave the forum and discuss with themselves away from it nobody should be told to do that.

as for RTB he puts a lot of effort into these threads and they’re brilliant and I appreciate him for it. But he came on late that night and started quoting people’s opinions, that at the time were correct, if anything is derailing the thread, it’s that, but of course nothing is said about that.

I’ll not rule anything out with these lads, exciting summer ahead for sure

Nothing wrong with negative posts, it's the relentless and pointless whining that many people are saying stops them posting.

If Sunderland have played badly they don't need it explaining to them as if they're clueless dopes.
How hard is it to grasp....that people become infantile in their emotional state and spurt out ****. Just chill, like me.

To be fair, you did suggest to @Scout73 that he should stop posting on matchday threads because he was being negative... not sure how else that should be interpreted? I always find his posts reasonable and have never seen him moaning for the sake of moaning (unlike others on occasion, TBF)

Spot on.

What I actually suggested a dozen times, which you've totally ignored, is that the people who don't want to respect the wishes of the thread creator simply create a thread of their own ... seriously what's your problem with that?

It takes a few seconds and people who want that kind of discussion can post together without being pestered by happy clappers.

The reality is that they don't want a thread of their own because they want an audience, simple as that ...

... the fact that their attitude drives people away is irrelevant, what they want to say simply must be heard.
