Double figures billionaire being touted. Think it’s time to enjoy.
Aye, think our lot are only going if it’s Europe. Portugal was mentioned a while backI won’t go near the place as things stand. One of the few countries in the world I wouldn’t piss on.
Needs to be someone who understands and accepts the way we work though. We can’t be changing what we do to chase immediate glory. We want triple, we want triple, we want triple.
I'm sure whoever comes in will have been vetted by KLD and a match for the club, I bet there are quite a few interested now.
Decent young team, excellent training facilities and our own ground, financially sound, sensible business plan, superb support and now in the best league in the world. In a world of massive football debt we are a rare opportunity.

It's a real life cinematic epic thats played out over the last few years. Double relegation from Prem, followed by L1 playoff defeat v Charlton, then playoff win v Wycombe for promotion to Champ, solid return to Championship then we kick on with young local lads from the academy.i never like speculating on money coming into the club cos we all know (and have seen) many tales fall flat...but, right now we are in a prime position, i have been amazed by the amount of people i have heard around the world talking about STID and that they started keeping an interest in the club, they have also seen the club rise from near administration to the premier league so i can honestly see some interest in being a part of it.
so many put KLD down as he is so young, forgetting his upbringing mostly based around owning and running a football club, many would simply have spent hoping for a lucky break but he has basically 'played a blinder' and will have gained a lot of respect from those wishing to buy into the game.

I bet there are people with money to burn who want to be involved with us next season. When I said the phones would be red hot, I reckon most will be incoming calls.
For those with a knowledge of finance and FFP how much difference can a big investor make? Those up the road look to be struggling to push money into the team. 2 or 3 big sponsorship deals seems do-able but not like we can spend with abandon unless it’s genuine income increase which we have from tv money? £45m loss over 3 seasons if covered by owner is max which KLD could choose to do himself. That makes £15m a year plus sponsorship income, say £35m at the top end over tv money and commercial revenue?Absolutely mate, 100% needs to get the club and the processes in place, KLD has my trust in that.
No doubt there will be people on tomorrow complaining that we haven't announced the pre season tour yet and they want to book hotels and flights![]()

Dreyfus knows what he’s doingWouldn’t be surprised if David Bruce has some contacts in America.
Happy with investment if it’s the right people even though not sure it’s needed right now but let’s not stand still.
What’s imperative for me is that the structure and philosophy or model isn’t interfered with. We’ve got something good going here and we’ve seen with Ellis short throwing money at it doesn’t always work.
Speakman and KLD still in place running the football side is what I’d prefer.
Exciting times though, we’ve come a hell of a way.
Investment yes, interference no.Some extra investment would be great, but has to be a good fit… we don’t want what Wrexham and Birmingham have… feels and looks superficial to me…
Whatever happens I really hope they give Speakman the tools to do the job in the Premier League… the guy has proved beyond a doubt he is key to this football club
Haway mate give us at least 24 more hours to get our blood pressure down from yesterday. I can’t be thinking about trillionaire takeovers right now haha.Dreyfus knows what he’s doing![]()
