This is it, the final straight, loads going into London tomorrow and the rest of our brothers and sisters Saturday !
Laughed to myself the other day as we were in Lidl Ryhope and two of the store assistants were chatting to each other saying the cans of cocktails were flying out today, one of them said I know I’m going to have to buy some for the train to Wembley.
That’s what it means to our city, we aren’t a big city either population of 274000 roughly. Around 36000 tickets sold which is 13 percent of our population has dropped whatever they are doing and making their way to London (and that’s not including those just going for the craic!)
