I'm not convinced at all by these noises about a meeting in Istanbul tomorrow. It just suggests a lack of urgency again.
The Tuesday meeting in Istanbul is just a board meeting. It would have been scheduled at the start of the year along with all of the other board meetings.
I'm sure it will cover a review of the seasons performance, along with the accounts/finances, plans for next season and half a dozen other boring things you need to discuss when you run a company.
However, articles about board meetings don't get many clicks.
This last part is what’s baffling me a bit. I get the stick that the media are likely peddling news stories in a typically quiet period. However, the way this has played out publicly with little to no comments from the club is just odd

I see not a single bit of your so called itk knowledge has happened
Mine was that we're we're ****ed if we went down (we didn't go down) and unsustainable at the current levels of expenditure even if we stayed up, as will become apparent -in fact it already is with late payment of wages, but you ignore that.
It was also that some players were told to look for new clubs during the march break, ahead of going into a crucial part of the season.
The 'Knowledge' (sic) under discussion here re Selles future has been reported by Mike White, confirmed by Baz Cooper and supported by a reliable source in Turkey that we have approached another manager.
But if you'd rather deny there's any evidence in favour of getting all bitter and twisted that someone else might actually get to hear snippets coming out of the club occasionally when you don't then keep on digging....
He was appointed 6th December, we were 22nd on 15 points.
Coventry were 3 points above us when he was appointed and finished in the play offs.
Portsmouth were 2 points behind us bottom of the table and finished mid table.
QPR were in equal points with equal games played and a worse goal difference and finished mid table.
It was hardly an impossible task, it was a 3 point gap.
Acun might be a nice guy but he doesnt have much common senseI'm not convinced at all by these noises about a meeting in Istanbul tomorrow. It just suggests a lack of urgency again.
It'll be 10 days after securing safety that they finally, hopefully, make a decision on what they're doing with the manager. We will be in competition with other clubs for players but rather than setting our stall out, showing how serious we are to these targets and focusing on winning them over, we're still thinking about what to do with the manager. If this was last summer or the year before I'd be more understanding, but it's now clear that we've been slow starters in previous summers and that we need to do better this time. So seeing us mess about waiting for an in-person meeting in Istanbul in the second week of the summer rather than having this all sorted by the Monday after the Portsmouth game rings immediate alarm bells.
Even if they do keep him now, some damage will have been done by putting him through this embarrassing public process. Some trust will have been eroded and he'll go into the season being seen as the manager who we almost sacked in the summer.
Did Hull City put out a statement?I ask again as I don't think I got a response last time, do all other clubs put out some sort of statement within a week or two of the season ending regarding the manager, players, and owners plans for the future? And if so have they all done it yet?
From the Fail, few more days of uncertainty and conjecture...

We've become accustomed to being over informed, saturated by news, 24 hour media, panic then takes hold when there's none for a while, ITKers start filling the void, its not been that long, just wait until after the board meeting. This last part is what’s baffling me a bit.
