I'll freely admit to that. I thought it was an awful decision, and thought the same over sacking Rosie. And the shenanigans over not paying our bills on time was shoddy too. But, we move on ...

Sacking Selles would be the most ludicrously moronic decision since sacking Rosenior. The club needs stability. If that is mid-table next season and top 10 the next, so be it. There has been so much chopping and changing here, nobody knows if they’re standing up, sitting down or having a ****!!!
Keep Selles! Provide him with the tools to do the job (right back, left back, a motherfucker of a centre forward) and watch us go!

To be fair, in isolation I still think sacking Selles was a mistake at the time and he did better than many thought.

But obviously we now have a better manager. Both things can be true at the same time.

Same as some people still say it was right to sack Rosenior but hiring Walter was a mistake.

To be fair it helped Acun get away with it that Walter was so dislikable as he really got shafted by the board that summer. Both wingers did ACLs had strike options of an unfit Joao Pedro and Bedia.

Obviously hoping this time next week we're 4-0 up and heading to the Prem, but regardless I'm pleased that Acun appears to be backing Sergej and is probably unlikely to fire him for not getting promoted.
