Mayenda needs to release that early and Isidor was clean through from half way. They're the opportunities we need to make more of.

Isidor often ghosts behind defenders which limits Mayendas options, totally different situation when Elf has as the ball as his vision is top class and he knows beforehand what pass he is going make . Its all about space mate.

What a strange (got ya moment) again only select posters are pushing this. It's a shame.

We got the result and I am buzzing and a great night but we did concede all of the ball and over time, it's not how I like us to play. I hope Tuesday works out for us mate and Wembley beckons.

Tuesday is still going to be a really difficult game for us. No idea how we're going to approach it. There's risk involved in doing the same again, but likewise being more on the front foot might allow them more space in behind. It's not easy or obvious how to navigate it.

The fans have to have complete faith and trust too and back the team. A performance like last night at home would have had many of our fans screaming at the team to push up, moaning about giving the ball away etc. An early goal for Coventry would potentially have the same result.

The lads need full throated support until the end, no matter how the game is going.

Wonder what shocks RLB pulls out of the hat for Tuesday. I dont think any of us expected that team (especially away from home) but the bloke got it spot on.
Can he change it when we looked good defensively playing 4-4-2. They had some big lads yet we coped well the vast majority of the time.
Does he go 3-5-2, 4-2-3-1. Tune into the next episode of the Reggie show to find out.

PS, still buzzing.

I'm sure it didn't go unnoticed that when ELF had the ball in the middle of the park, instead of out on the left....he split the Coventry defence with a world class delivery for Wilson to score.....More of that please...he NEEDS to be in the middle

To play on the break the other team need to be attacking. Early season, when at our best, we soaked up attacks and killed them on the break. Our attacking strength is that style of play.
A word on Roberts. I’ve warmed to his defensive game and he did well with this last night so not saying he was bad but if he was any use around the box we’d have finished this tie off.

I think it will be more of the same but a little less extreme in its “one way-ness”. We need to be careful not to leave huge gaps because that’s where Coventry thrive. They’ve struggled all season against compact defences like we had last night so as far as I’m concerned we’d be silly to completely switch it up and go expansive, so I don’t think we will. Need the fans to stay onboard with the approach and not get frustrated.

Either way he had a say in both goals and we’re lucky to have his quality on the field.

He deserves a lot of credit for last night. I didn’t know if we could flip the switch but he did Lampard good and proper. A great away performance and we got what we deserve. Happy for him to work
Out what we need at home. I imagine Myndle will be thrown into the fray at some point.
