I know we don't see eye to eye on a few things....this however:emoticon-0148-yes:. (My first and last post on another wonderful RTB thread)

It's sickening seeing someone trash the club for weeks only to become a misty-eyed happy clapper when we win.

It's very easy to be 'Sunderland's best supporter' after such a night ...

... after walking out halfway through our games and boasting about it.

Not sure if this has been mentioned (I haven't read the thread) but Mayenda was really clever for his goal. The Coventry defender looks up at the goalkeeper for a split second and Mayenda instantly recognises what he's about to do and makes a dash for the place he knows the ball is about to be passed into.

People are saying it was a gift but I think that's doing Mayenda a huge disservice, it was very good reading of the game and incredible presence of mind / reaction time to get to that ball ahead of the Coventry goalie. If he didn't see that pass coming and react BEFORE it was played there's no way he scores that goal.

Which is all to say, the lad is going to the very top.

... And so are we.

HTL!!!

The shimmy to get around the keeper as well, then the composure to finish.

Coolest man in the stadium.

What a game and well worth the long drive and horrible traffic around the stadium.
A truly amazing away end and a good atmosphere all round.
Two great goals and a solid performance, Ballard and Jobe were immense.
My tickets should arrive later today <laugh><laugh>
Can't wait for next Tuesday
These lads were just down from me
THIS IS WHAT PROPER SUPPORT IS ALL ABOUT

Watched match then straight to work. I really wanted to see us play with intensity and pace but what we got was grit and determination. RLB got it spot on IMO and out thought Frank Lampard on this occasion. It’s only half done and we still have the second leg to play, but we now have something to believe in, something to make the doubters believe in.
The atmosphere in the SOL needs to be too hot to handle and no matter the outcome this team needs to know everybody is right behind them.

Watched it back, pretty much the perfect away performance thought we were excellent defensively fell asleep for the equaliser but other than that can’t fault them, fought for everything and clinical when it mattered, get that ground rocking Tuesday if you can’t get on board with this squad then football isn’t for you, they’ll give absolutely everything and that’s all we ever ask of them, love this club man

Have steered clear of saying anything in the last couple of months partly from being busy moving house but mainly because of our form in the run up to the playoffs. We have been going through the motions for weeks and although winning those 5 games would not have made any difference to the automatic places feel it would have set us up nicely going into last night. However that result was excellent especially having conceded the equaliser so soon after goading ahead in the first place. Hopefully we can put them to the sword next week at home.

I would fancy us over Sheff United at Wembley.

We've still got 90 + mins of football to play on Tuesday in what is our biggest game since the scum. Im hoping we've learned from that and we don't freeze as we did that day.The fans have a huge part to play. HTL

Well kettle is on time to re-watch the game class last night so jealous I won’t be there Tuesday well in body that is one last push to get us to Wembley in REG I trust COME ON

Speaking of porn, le fee’s pass to Wilson is ****ing filthy can’t stop watching it

And that is whats required to get the best out of him. Wilson doesnt like the physical stuff, wont head a ball but you put a pass through for him to run onto he will beat most defenders for speed and do the business.
And then we have Mayenda to compliment that who can handle the rough stuff and do the business.
Can they both do it in the Premier. We will find out in a few months time.
