Basic health and safety OT. If you'd been wearing a fluorescent yellow jacket it never would've happened.
Anyone who plays guitar, how would you play an A-shape E chord? I've always played them with my last three fingers but a mate plays those three notes using one finger to barre? I tried but couldn't really make the chord

Right.. so you're basically losing a better sound of the A/top E string? I think I'll probably stick with my method unless I have to barre on like, the 10th fret..
speaking of guitars, i had to watch a 70s fender mustang bass go on ebay for 300 quid while slyly texting my mum seeing if i could borrow about 400 quid off her. she said no, unsurprisingly. a horrible moment for all involved
Yep. Looked genuine. Had that lovely battered look and everything, it looked amazing. I was so gutted.
Gotta love reliced guitars. Someone on a Telecaster forum I'm part of went to a garage sale in the US, found a Telecaster in a pretty beat up case, the guitar looked brand new, bought it for $100. Got it home, took it apart, found out it was a '62 Tele, some people get all the luck!
That's mental! Gotta feel a bit bad for the seller like but I'd love to pick up a bargain like that Most I've got is I bought a Tokai Love Rock TJ78 (Les Paul double cutaway style. Ridiculous name but good guitars like) for around 150 quid. Turns out they RRP at 800 and sell very occasionally (never see them) on ebay for about 500. I'm selling it, if anyone's interested
What year is it? Wouldn't mind an 80s Tokai Tele myself, they're better than most of the Fenders that came out at that period.
Honestly couldn't tell you off the top of my head I've ignored it, shamefully, rarely played it. It's back at home at the minute. I might try and sell it when I'm back over Xmas. Need the money I'd never heard of them really until I bought it a few years back. Got it for a good deal when I was buying my first fender bass (and only one, unfortunately). Pleasantly surprised, though.
