If we do change shape it'll be back to the 442, which I wouldn't be against.

Patterson
Hume Mepham O'Nien Cirkin
Roberts Neil Jobe ELF
Mayenda Isidor

Takes the pressure off the wide players to be threats in behind and they can tuck in and effectively be 4 midfielders while letting the front 2 be the counter attacking threats.

Can Roberts or ELF defend tho. thats the question , still have nightmares about the Luton play second leg to go with that line up.

With Abdullahi's reappearance...

Remember his hattrick

Would be ridiculously harsh on Mayenda if Isidor was selected ahead of him IMO
I don’t mind it but would prefer Mayenda in for Roberts.

But with Roberts and ELF playing they’re likely to look for the through balls to Isidor whilst we keep the game time. Avoid defeat

Will probably be our only outlet so it’s another massive gamble. Isidor really needs to be on his bike every time he turn over possession, but to be fair to him at the start of the season he was.. but both Rigg and Jobes first thought when they get the ball is head down and run.

Agreed. I’d be tempted to go

Patterson
Mepham - Ballard - O’Nien
Hume - Jobe - Neil - Cirkin
Le Fee
Mayenda - Isidor

I like this team but there's no way we experiment with it for the first time in the playoffs <laugh>. Would have been nice to try it out in one of these last few meaningless games, but we didn't have the players fit for it. Not a knock on RLB, just unfortunate.

Agree. I think the formation will evolved during games and be different in the final if we get there. I think we'll keep the back four though.

Text received that tickets have just arrived :emoticon-0148-yes:

Know of a few people still waiting, though. My tickets early on in the season down there last year didn’t arrive and we had to get duplicates down there. More of a **** on than it should’ve been.

QPR managed e-tickets, no reason Coventry couldn't have done the same.

My advice would be to arrive early, I have a suspicion the ticket office will deliberately delay people getting.

The worst part is I can’t even watch the match tomorrow, I’m out elsewhere.

I’m going to tell everyone I’m out with not to even mention the match to me and try my best to ignore updates until full time I think. Will be less stressful if I just see the result and be quickly done with it. <laugh>
