Bit of an addendum, about five minutes long.

This lad is quite clever and uses people's own hypocrisy against them, that's fine although he's quite hypocritical himself.

Eni Aluko, like many black/trans/lgbt/whatever people, make themselves victims so they can claim the moral high ground.

People who disagree, with them, are reluctant to say so because they're then seen to be kicking someone when they're already down.

If Aluko was a white male, attacking Ian Wright, Aluko would be one of the first defending him.

And that's the hideous loop these people are caught up in ...

... they're totally self righteous, but cringingly biased, which is never a good combination.

Recovering after a 3 day international football tournament in Valencia.

    And we won.

And yes, I wore a Sunderland shirt.

    Haway the lads

Latest kidney matching process was today, and as usual, we didn't get one.

There is a glimmer of hope though....

Spoke with the transplant co-ordinator today, and she discussed the possibility of a direct donation from me to the Mrs.
I'm not a blood group or tissue type match with the Mrs, but her blood tests show she has low anti-bodies. This means there is still a good chance of a direct donation, they would give some kind of transfusion which would massively reduce the risk of rejection.
This wasn't an initial option, as they wanted to go through the kidney sharing scheme first as plan A.
With no success in this after 5 matching rounds, this is now a very viable plan B.

She will be in touch next week to confirm a date to see the nephrologist, and take it from there, but did say things can happen quite quick.

Fingers crossed this comes off (i think it will).

Really looking forward to having a few Guinness again, it's only been 593 days since the last one. Not that I'm counting mind. <cheers>

All the best mate, I hope all goes well, everything else pales into insignificance in these circumstances.

New insurance one to watch out for ( new to me anyway) Just got home insurance renewal quote and as expected found cheaper elsewhere. Yet it includes a ''new business fee'' of £40. Still cheaper than original so I took it. It's like going to a pub you've never been in before and the round is £18.25 plus £5 because it's your frst visit.

Higher premiums encourage false claims which push up the cost for those who don’t claim …

    … it’s a vicious circle you can’t insure against.
