Sadiq Khan threw his support behind Chris Kaba's family before the trial for murder of the firearms officer and when the jury found him not guilty Khan pledged to stand by Kaba's family saying;
“I understand the impact Chris Kaba’s death has had on London’s communities and the anger, pain and fear it has caused. I send my heartfelt sympathies to Chris Kaba’s family, friends and the wider community once again. There’s clearly still a wider lack of trust in the police, particularly within the Black community, that needs to be addressed."
Instead of shutting his hole and letting the officer get on with his life the Met Police (to whom Khan is the boss) have decided to open up another case against the officer this time for misconduct.
Assistant Commissioner Laurence Taylor said: “We recognise the significant impact of Mr Kaba’s death on his family who continue to grieve the loss of a loved one" and even though Taylor admits that the extensive evidence put to the jury resulted in a not guilty verdict he is going after the marksman again.

Yet Sadiq Khan hasn't bothered to mention this or any of the other black on black murders in the capital.
