My point is

Probably some truth with a massive side of embellishment as always

Chinese whispers

Tale as old as time

I'd be v surprised if there's no substance to it. And it would explain some players disappearing/turning to **** who were key and playing well prior to the break.

Too much of a coincidence.

Some truth but embellished massively

That may be true but I also think he’s done a poor job and a decent manager would have had us comfortably survived by now. We are one of the biggest spenders in the division this season and we have some very good players here that imo have suffered due to bad management under 2 managers this season.

We were only one of the biggest spenders cos we gad replace the whole team.
If we were one of the biggest spenders and only brought in a few players then fair enough

Simultaneous drop offs in multiple individuals performance is usually a result of the club pissing on it's chips in one way or another.

Criticising players going out is a bit like criticising the pope being catholic.

And they haven't just started doing it since the international break.

Its an easy claim to make
Our performances havent really dropped off a cliff in reality

We massively over performed our expected goals a few months ago vs sheff united

Almost every single win and loss under selles has been by 1 goal
And when its such fine margins

They swing the other way easily

There are only a select few players I'd want back next season, providing we stay up. Pandur, Millar, Matazo, Belloumi and Hughes. Even if we managed to stay up, we probably will end up selling them anyway, especially Pandur. I don't know what wages Amrabat is on but I'd keep him around for cameos if his wages aren't too expensive on the books.

This seems like the best thread to put this.

I've just read that the Wednesday massive are after Vardy and he is interested in going there

Certain individuals have disappeared all seemingly since the break.

Jones has started two games since the break
Its purely tactical
He prefers egan

Lincoln has been playing MORE since the break?

Gelhardt has started every single game since the break

Pedro started the first 4 games after the break when he wasnt suspended

Not so much 'disappeared' as in not selected, disappeared as in no where near as effective. All at the same time.

Not only that, sources confirming who are rarely far wide of the mark.

And no, I'm not seeing any change in tactical intent, I'm just seeing players who were at least performing to some extent now not showing any great intent.

Convenient

The players you mentioned are playing just as much as usual

Apart from jones

And again
Are the performances actually worse?

Every win and loss is by 1 goal bar 3 games

They've put in one decent half of football since the break.

If that's not a significant change then I don't know what is.

They rarely followed up one stinker with another before, and they weren't playing like a relegation side before. They consistently have been since.

But oh no, it's the manager who's decided on a whim to go all defensive for a laugh when he didn't need to in bradyland.

No
We just havent been getting the results compared to before

We create barely any chances

Its why every loss and win is by 1 goal
Its the finest swings

But we can do the embellishment if you want

An increased focus on a 'don't lose' mentality, hope to sneak a goal, rather than go out to get the win. Simple as. He thought doing that would be enough to see us safe.
His mentality has now, finally changed (re. the interview aired on RH this morning). He now realises, hopefully not too late, that we must win.

So you think he's gone from telling them to not sit back and get another when they score to don't score and play for 0-.0?

He's setting them up the same way as before. He's just not getting the same performances from key players as before.
