I thought Eubank won on balance, tough to call. Couldn’t complain either way, surprised with unanimous.

 

What fight were those judges watching?

 

Nah Eubank bossed the second half of that fight. To be fair Benn was a lot better then I expected.

 

Better work from Eubsnk Benn more swinging, thought it was a nailed on draw

 

Difficult to see a 4 round swing.
Surprised Eubanks didn’t get a point deduction early on .Ref kept warning him.

 

I aren’t a boxing expert at all , I’m one of the casuals sucked in by the talksport hype . So I can’t comment on the technical skill , but I loved the final round where they both were just trying to take the others head off .

 

Carl Froch said the scorecards were ok. He scored it the same. Eubank by 4 rounds.

 

Carl froch also thinks the world is flat and the moon landings where fake.

Jnr on balance won, but not by 4 rounds

 

He knows a thing or two about boxing though. Which is relevant to this thread. Anything else he does or doesn’t know is pretty irrelevant.

i remember having a few of those nights when I was in the army ,Benn fought on one of the inter services finals in Berlin when I was also stationed in Germany fights were brutal at times.

Didn’t even realise the rematch was on tonight. Finally got the result he deserves, that decision in the first fight was farcical.
