premier league began August 92 which is when Division 4 became Division 3, but we’ve played them a few times in the third level. Most memorable for me was at home October 1984 when Colin Appleton came back to BP as Swans manager after resigning as our manager after that night at Burnley and we thrashed them 4-1.

October 1991 Vetch Field 0-0 Friday night, awful game, fairly sure it was Dean Windass league debut and only memorable as I counted 33 away fans in the caged corner terrace and a handful in the seats, and so it is the lowest number of City fans I've attended a competitive fixture.

Me and the wife were among those 33. Happy days.

Preston have only won 10 games (1 less than us) and are only where they are because of 19 draws. I think we can all guess how that’s going to work out.
While our recent form is more important, generating a table for matches since Selles took over, we are 10th and above the likes of Middlesboro and Norwich. More importantly our final 4 opponents are 11th (Preston, identical points, one less goal difference), 14th (Portsmouth), 17th (Swansea) and 23rd (Derby).

So some people want Drameh back in the team then ?

He's got pace , I'll say that .

Drameh is one of those players who's always highly rated when he's not playing.

On Monday, Coyle made a bad miss at a point in the game where people were already frustrated and it immediately became easy to scapegoat him and write off his entire performance. When he went off for the last 10 minutes it was inevitable that Drameh would be well received in contrast.

Drameh looked very decent when he first came, then got injured and when he came back was stuck on the left where he struggled and unfortunately that seemed to continue when he had a brief spell back on the right. All players are going to have good and bad spells and Coyle is no different. I’d like to see Drameh get some minutes on the right, if not as a starter then if Coyle starts to tire or is struggling against a quick skilful wide man.

Rumour has it Strictly Come Dancing are after signing Coyle up for their next series, they've very impressed at his dancing with various wingers recently. :emoticon-0138-think

I was also at the May 1999 one at The Vetch, where they had to win to be sure of making the play-offs. Kick off delayed for around forty minutes, ensuring they knew what they had to do, gits absolute gits. Luckily I was near the top of the terracing, thus avoiding the pool balls, coins, and rubble coming in our direction. :emoticon-0138-think

Drameh is really useful second half when Couke tires and oppo wingers take advantage . Drameh is v quick and stops then getting behind us. It’s just tactical

I don’t understand the bashing of Drameh. He’s 23 – younger than players like Kyle Joseph and Matty Jacob – and still improving his game.

Coyle is 29 now. We can’t expect him to be as good as he has been every week, so we need to start thinking about how and when he’s replaced by Drameh – who should be playing on that side.

What the Premier League was called at varying stages of its life is totally irrelevant to City vs Swansea games in the third tier of English football! Ffs I wish I’d never said anything.
Whatever happened to the Third Division North and Third Division South ? And why ?

I expect us to stay up but take it to the last day. So not expecting anything from today’s game unless the Swansea players really are on the beach.
I think we'll either survive with a game or two to spare, or go down on the last day. These next two games will go a long way to deciding which it is.

No idea how today will go, but thought Swans were one of the poorer teams we've played at our place this season, no real stand out players and only the 2nd team all season to lose at our place to boot. They've done us some favours in past few weeks beating derby and Plymouth let's hope they do us another favour and play like they did at our place today

Looking forward to this one. I’d like to see Pedro with Gelhardt behind him. Kamara right side and Lincoln left side. I just think that 9&10 combo gets the best out of both of them.
