Hope the fork is sustainable wood and not plastic.
Both not needed. The last time we went to Chelsea we had refreshments at the White Horse pub, in Parsons Green, two locals order a scotch egg each. When the plates arrived the eggs were in halves, the pretentious prats asked for a knife and fork. :emoticon-0138-think
Edit, just checked their menu, they're charging £7.50 for a scotch egg, and daft gits are paying it.

I know it very well…that’s not expensive for west London!

Next time try Arragon house or brook house but close by but 10000x better establishments. Give me a shout & I will buy you a beer & a scotch egg!

I've had a pass since I was 11 in 1975 . Hull City are part of my life , its in my blood . Seen some terrible City teams and individuals in the amber and black , some excellent ones too . Also in 10 years saw my team bottom of the football league pyramid and for a brief moment top of the Premier league .
Only severe illness or death will prevent me going and being a pass holder.
Come on City UTT.

Same here City Girl. As for your last sentence, I have experienced one of those two situations this year I’m not going to disclose which one it was though.:emoticon-0105-wink:

I’ll continue but if the government follow through with reduction on disability benefits it would probably be the first to go for me

Been times this season I’ve started to think I dislike football and dislike supporting city . Attending games has been a drag ,
Took my daughter on one of the stadium tours this morning and it reminded me I didn’t hate football or city at all , reading the roll call of players who have played for us , all the old photos around , realised I love the pitch when there’s no players on it , and I was like a big kid sat on the managers seat near the pitch and sat in the changing rooms …..it reminded me I don’t dislike city at all , I just dislike nearly all the current players. I don’t know why , I can’t put my finger on it ,I just don’t like supporting this version of city . I’ve seen worse players, a lot worse players - but always loved going . What it is about this city I just don’t like ? . Answers on a postcard cos I don’t know

Do you spend much time on City social media? I jacked it in when the deluge of screechy everything-is-a-catastrophe bollocks got overwhelming. I liked City a lot more as a result.

I'll never dislike the club or supporting it but agree with everything else. For me I think it's because there are no players I can see running through walls for the club, and there hasn't been for a few seasons now. Struggling to remember anyone since Davies tbh. Even local lads like Greaves and KLP moved on at the first chance they got, and they weren't "run through walls" types anyway. Maybe that's just something from the past and it's probably just modern football I don't like. Would never give it up though!

Todays team seem to lack heart, desire, drive, spirit (whatever you want to call it) compared to sides of years gone by. That, I think, is partly modern football and partly how our present team play (3-3 draws last year and this being exceptions). We need to bottle that spirit and display it more often.

Think it’s why amrabat got so many motm votes against Coventry
Look lads there’s a thing over there called a goal let’s try n stick the ball in it
To me for the most part city just didn’t seem to have any energy to go forward and we’re quite content to stick to the game plan
Neat passes
Don’t give the ball away
It will come eventually

Boring

That's why Gelhardt gets so many votes too. He actually looks like he's trying to make things happen

I think there's a big perception issue in the modern game. As we know, there's a lot of passing about at the back nowadays and I think some people, rightly or wrongly, see that as players not trying or not playing with intensity. Especially when they're frustrated at the way the game is going in general.

I want us to play like Arsenal did last night.

Never thought I'd say that.

Alternatively like PSG did last week.

Thats all well and good
Big problem though

Our players cant do those things with a football

Top level players are just, faster, think faster
Pass faster
