Yorkie raisen and biscuit is by far the best bar of chocolate known to man.

    And it's not for girls

But a good side excuse for why Britain's economy is **** and we pay more for everything than anyone else in Europe.

Wasn't Brexit sposed to fix this **** @brb?

Whole things a fuking scam run by liars and cheats.

    The French wouldn't have it.

Us tho, we just accept being bum raped financially every day.

Trouble is, Generation Z or whatever they're called can afford a ton of consumer crap, but can't afford to buy a house or pay rent. Everything is basically ****ed, but I don't think Trump has the answers.

Closer to home I saw Spanish blackberries in Asda a while back. They were also growing on bushes all along the fence opposite.

Your mistake is thinking I wanted out to make things cheaper.

If it was my world, I wouldn't be importing anything that we could produce ourselves.

Consumerism has done nothing but make us greedy, fat and lazy.

    Yes, this.....

Old people bitch about the younger generation spending all their money on "luxuries" such as avocado toast and Starbucks Coffee etc etc
What older people dont seem to appreciate is that back in the 70's and 80's, necessities were cheap, and luxuries were expensive.
Your mortgage was £200 a month, your utlities were £40 a month, yet a Sony CD player, which was a luxury, was £500.
Nowadays, its completely flipped....necessities cost a fortune and due to mass production and labour export, luxuries cost **** all.
Your rent is now £1500, your utilities are £250, yet you can get a Spotify premium subscription to access all the music known to man for less than £15!

People are spending on luxuries because they want to escape the reality that their necessities are bankrupting them.

I've just eaten some grapes that definitely weren't grown in the UK. Probably South Africa at a guess.

Really. 1kg of chicken in France will set you back about €10.
    About £6.50 here.
Could run through loads of stuff and see it’s pretty even. (Used that for Burcher bit earlier)

I use to always take blackberries and raspberries home for my mum to make a pie, that I'd picked round the country lanes. I use to go scrumping in all the orchards, for apples, pears, cherries and get chased by the farmers...in our day you had to take your life in your own hands to get food, my bro got stuck up a tree onetime, with a farmer standing directly below the tree holding a shotgun, not knowing my bro was up there, so we had to get the farmer to chase us to pull him away from the cherry tree. <laugh>

    Thats just common sense.

    8m a day housing illegals

Billions given away in foreign aid.

Look after your own 1st is nothing to shout down or be ashamed of.

Thats why people are pissed off, we're all broke, they tell us there's a black hole, they go for the disabled and elderly yet hand out taxpayer money to all the wrong people.

You saying if we sent home the roughly 2m worth of poncing boat dwellers we have here that we'd not be better off?

People like you are the fukin problem.

Send em all home I say.

Shoot the fuking boats, stop giving them a free ride in a comfortable hotel and watch how fast they find another mug country to go ponce off.

More on consumer nonsense. My daughter went to The O2 to watch Usher (whoever that is) and the price of a large GLASS of wine was £35. She didn't buy.

The point though. Nobody should buy it but they do. You're being robbed face to face and asking for more. The price of that glass will then come down. We have to stop this nonsense.
