Not entirely. THB has changed agents and we know for certain Dibling does want to leave in the summer. He is on the wages of a youth player for the next 2 seasons and has been offered a big new contract - the fact he hasn't signed means he 100% wants out.

Know I said this last night and it's been said all season but I absolutely love Matty Fernandes.
He's brilliant and genuinely has a bit of everything. To come into such an awful situation at his age and still show a lot of consistency is highly impressive.

Hoping we get Lavia type money for him as he still has 4 years left on his deal (like Lavia did). Imagine he also has a pretty sizeable sell on to Sporting as well

The club apparently think the same as us, and Fernandes is the one they most want to keep hold of. If (when) we sell Ramsdale and Dibling and a few others then we shouldn't NEED to sell Fernandes from a purely FFP perspective. All depends on Fernandes and the amount of interest and size of offers we receive!

I do get the ‘Dibling is young’ stuff, and I feel bad for picking him out last night, but the difference in attitude and effort between him and Fernandes is marked. I get that they’re two different types of players, but it’s so noticeable currently.
Fernandes is brilliant and we all love him. But there are plenty of young players in the squad who have questionable attitudes. Bella-Kotchap, Sulemana, for a start. Probably others (Archer, Wood?). Then there are the likes of Downes, who just decided not to play for about half a dozen games. Stephens who got sent off twice in consecutive games.
If we compared Dibling to any of these lot, then suddenly he appears not such a bad lad after all.
It's all just too speculative as far as I'm concerned. Our fans always do this. It's tiresome.
