Litter bothers me massively, probably beyond proportion. However, it's better than when I was a kid. It's better than it was 15 years ago. I worked significantly in San Francisco for many years (I lived in Seattle, but went home less often than I would like) and none of this is accurate I'm afraid. I still have many friends and ex colleagues that do live there and work/run large corporations. None of this is accurate - I'm not just relying on media for this, I have first hand knowledge. You can use this or believe the lies you are told. That's your choice. Just so you know, homelessness across the USA was a huge issue 50+ years ago, it's not new, it's not due to immigration. My lame stat was an experience of the other day. I can't remember the exact number, but the £30k was actually £49 per week. It was made up hyperbole designed to create outrage towards the current government's actions. It wasn't true. It wasn't about hiding the truth, it was contesting lies.
