That's a good example of why I can't understand the stupidity of VAR not looking at second yellows. It's still a red card. The impact on the remainder of a game is the same, regardless of whether a red card is a straight red or a second yellow.

That would have been a very easy review for a second yellow for Wharton if the VAR had the power to.
 
Palace are so good away.

They're going to have fun at our place on Wednesday.
 
Certainly don’t look like a bottom half team. Going to be a goal fest on Wednesday. Not for Saints.

If the season had started on 1 December, Palace would be 4th, with a game in hand to potentially go 2nd:

Liverpool 39 (from 17 games)
Arsenal 33 (from 16 games)
Forest 32 (from 16 games)
Palace 30 (from 15 games)

Their horrid start to the season is the only reason why they're not joining the likes of Forest and Brighton in fighting for an unexpected CL place.
