I had to google what that meant <laugh>

Often called Little Punjab or Little India, West London's Southall district has been a South Asian hub since the 1950s, and was featured in the 2002 film, "Bend it Like Beckham." Southall Market on High Street sells produce, spices, jewellery, and antiques while eateries along The Broadway offer samosas, dosas, and sweets like jelabis. Gurdwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha is one of the largest Sikh temples outside India. ― Google
and for not having the NF parading their hate on Southalls streets .

There's a large Sikh community in Gravesend, quick google tells me it's 15% of the population, not been for a few years, but they have a carnival/festival once a year, Vaisakhi celebration.

The one this year will be weekend 12th April, although not really seen anything advertised in the local rag yet...ah just seen, the parade through the town will be Sunday 13th April.

Probably a good excuse to go see what is left of Gravesend High St if the weather is nice that weekend. They got a Spoons there as well, go have a few jars and then out to shout some abuse lol (jokes).

It was this community that went down and fed all the truckers when they were being stacked at Manston, quite some task that... https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19...ls-to-stranded-lorry-drivers-in-kent-12171358

They like feeding people as it is considered part of their faith to share food

Anti-Hamas protests in northern Gaza continue for a third day, with most estimates suggesting that crowds have grown from hundreds to thousands.

Which shows to me that the average Palestinian is not the murdering terrorist that many make them out to be.

Maybe if Palestine can kick out Hamas and Israel can kick out Netanjahu... There could be hope.

Agreed.

I've said from day one there is no version of reality that brings peace if either of the two are still in power.

Fatah, the PA, Arab allies and Israel need to be involved in positively supporting a Palestinian governed Gaza, without Hamas.

Netanyahu needs to ditch his idea that Israel will control Gaza and seize more land in the West Bank. And he needs to recognise that his support and financial aid for Hamas to try and thwart the PA from instigating a two state solution was a failed strategy that has cost both Israeli and Palestinian lives.

The only solution to this is a two state solution where Palestine is a Sovereign state where its people have the right to self determination. Israel need to recognise that their (genuine) security concerns can only be managed in this way, as more years of military suppression will just breed generation upon generation of Palestinians who will take up the fight against them.

And yes, this is only possible without Netanyahu and Hamas

Ooh a chart by Aizenberg ... that sounds like a reliable independent source <laugh>

... but if you fancy learning ... try this from Oxfam ...

https://www.oxfam.org/en/press-rele...za-israeli-military-any-other-recent-conflict

You can dismiss it if you want. Maybe read the thread if you haven’t yet. I assumed you would. It evaluates the sensationalist headlines from the likes of Oxfam but you’re only interested in sensationalist headlines that back up your endless fapping for Hamas.

Unlike you I never dismiss anything ... but will always weigh the credibility of my 'trusted source' by factors of vested interest and independence ...

... and I have never offered one iota of support, or sympathy for Hammas - that's just you fapping and attempting to throw mud to fit your narrow narrative ... and your constant attempts to besmirch anybody showing criticism of the IDF and / or an Israeli regime that has shown a total disregard for the sanctity of life for non-combatants is both transparent and disappointing ... you have been both unwilling and unable to have a 'grown-up' discussion about the 'Palestinians' because of your hatred and bigotry mixed with a fair dollop of arrogance... in contrast to CK, whose views I may not wholly agree with but who provides a rational basis for them that invites a sensible debate / conversation..

Do you have any sadness or sympathy for the thousands of dead Palestinian women and children that have died in Gaza in this conflict? ... if your answer is 'no' perhaps you could enlighten everyone with your 'grown-up' rationale for your response?

Tbf Oxfam don't compile those figures, they source them from the UN, Small arms survey, Every casualty counts and the Armed conflict report, who have also complied figures from other conflict zones including Syria and Iraq

I had a quick scan through the thread you posted. The guy seems to be equating 'teenagers of combatant age' 13-17 and 'Males of combatant age' 13-55 as being ACTUAL combatants. i.e. EVERY male death in this age bracket is that of a combatant, and then arriving at a figure that 1:1 ratio of Civilian to Combatant deaths

He also then goes on in the thread about the UN being anti-semitic because of their findings etc. Add in some of the replies that Gazan's are Nazis and this account just screams like one of @Sucky's on steroids.
