Sky make a good point about Leicester's recruitment. El Khannouss is the only player starting tonight who they signed since promotion.

That's not going to keep you up. And it's not going to bring in a wealth of transfer income once relegation has happened.

Not seen much of Leicester but he came in with a big reputation/promise (basically their version of Fernandes). Anyone know how he’s doing there? Bright spot in a **** team like Fernandes with us?

He's clearly got some talent from what I've seen from him. But comes across as very selfish - or maybe is just bad at decision-making - and goes missing in games too much. He is still young though.

I'm not convinced they'd make any profit on him, if they were to sell him in the summer. But like Fernandes, he's only one year into a long contract, so Leicester might fancy their chances of keeping him.

All their other signings this season - except for Buonanotte - have been a waste. But given we're talking the likes of Ayew, Skipp and Reid, it's hardly a surprise. Tough to choose whether they or us had a worse summer recruitment.

Leicester replacing a proven PL manager with Van Nistelrooy remains baffling.

If we could just get one more point at home they might take the record for straight home defeats.

TV games for the round of fixtures on 3rd May was meant to be announced by today but no news it seems.

Really hope Leicester stays as a Saturday 3pm.

Interesting images m on the industry of PL club's sponsors almost two decades apart.

If you went back another 20 years would it be alcohol top sponsors?

Probably. Pretty sure Liverpool and Everton had alcohol sponsors then too.

Yeah, I don’t like the crackdown on gambling because I think there’s a huge alterior motive to it, but yeah can also understand why people hate the gambling sponsorships etc

And that Brighton don't either, despite being owned by a gambling mogul.
Yeah that's always been an interesting one. Tied together with the stadium naming rights too. I've got no idea how they got a sponsor as big as Amex while they were in the Championship.

Interesting the big clubs don't have gambling sponsors.

Presumably because it's easy for them to attract big money anyway.

I see the gambling commission aren't happy with Everton and Leicester as their sponsors are supposed to be banned in UK
