Normally on a Sunday morning I switch you lot on to see the match day thread hoping we have won

We were poor
It was a soft penalty, and given by the ref because the home crowd wanted it.
We never win against 10 players!
However, we are not a bad team, but our good run of form came when we had a strong midfield of Varane, Field and Morgan
The first two were injured today, Field probably now for season. Morgan has gone of the boil too. Colback can replace one of them but not all 3.
We need a striker...that is bl**ding obvious, someone who scores goal, you cannot be dependant on your flashy wingers to score goals. We need someone who us always in the penalty box when attacking, waiting for crosses, getting rebounds, making a nuisance of themselves. Frey is a poor version of that player (but he is a version), no one else is.
We need to see out this season, reshake but not rebuild and get in a striker

Totally agree, but my biggest worry is that we don't have the funds to buy that striker.
Maybe 10 million for Eze, perhaps we might sell Nandi, Chair or even Morgan.

We need more than one striker and preferably ones that actually score regularly. Most of the contenders have three or four, that's what we're up against. We seem to have injury after injury, that should be a real concern...
In the build up to Dunnes' shot that hit the side netting in thecfirst half, have a look at the wrestling throw on Saito from the corner, he's picked up and thrown to the ground, ref looking straight at it and ignores it..... didn't really notice it at the time but that's more of a penalty than their's......
He looked decent against City. Probably as good as any of our current options.
