Match Preview;
After their 1-1 draw at Elland Road on March 1st, West Brom sit 6 in the table, level on points with 7th placed Coventry, and only two points ahead of 8th placed Boro...so they have a lot to play for. Their top scorer is Josh Maja with 12 goals, followed by Alex Mowatt and Karlan Grant with 6 each. Their manager is Tony Mowbray, who is in his second spell at West Brom having replaced Carlos Corberan who chose to leave the splendour of West Bromwich for Valencia...tough choice. Since rejoining, Mowbray has won 3, lost 3 and drawn 2.
As for us, solid mid-table, 14th, 13 from the drop zone and 8 points from the top six. As I've said in previous match day threads for the last few games, given our position in October, I'd have bitten your hand off for this position now. I'd love to see us finish the season strongly, and go into the summer high on confidence with a positive outlook for next season...but I fear Saturday is not going to be a fun afternoon for us.
From the interview on the official site, Cifuentes says Field is out, and may return before the end of the season due to an ankle injury. Kolli could return mid-March but not for this one and Zan Celar and Jake Clarke-Salter are getting closer to returning but not quite there yet.
Enjoy if you are making the trip, and as always...
...COME ON YOU SUPER HOOPSA!!!
