We dont mate, he just sits on the bench quite a bet...the major one is injured.
True, should've worded it better. Hopefully ELF is back in a few weeks and can make that position his own. We'll be a completely different proposition for opposition if we can create chances from central areas as well as from wide.

Aye that's a good point. I think if we get a Mayenda, Wilson and Mundle front 3 we have a chance.
Definitely worth looking at that midweek. It’s not a certainty to work imo. Mayenda has played his best football through the middle and it’s not a given that he’ll be as effective out wide, but it’s something we should try before season end so we know what we’ve got for the playoffs.

If Roberts is injured, he is the only one to do it for me. Maybe Watson but he is rusty.

After Roberts went off we had no right side today and Hjelde is never a left back in the month of Sundays.

We are too passive when in the lead and start to play tippy tappy football across the back 4 and goalkeeper which goes no where.

It is a criticism but more to the fact that we could be so much better.

Interesting about the sports psychologist idea, maybe it is a confidence thing.

I personally think he looks over weight for a professional footballer, but I don't think that has been the problem any of the times he has messed up!

Barry Siddall was, err, quite solid but he was still a decent keeper.
I agree confidence is a major factor, in all things.

I was raging at some points today. Jobe and Neil were pissing in the wind and treating the ball like a hot potato. It let Cardiff get back in.

Yeah may well be needs must. I’m alright with Rigg playing there in a 4-4-2 somewhat tucked in, but if we’re playing our usual shape then Mayenda may well be the best shout. Would hope that RLB will experiment a bit in the remaining games. Jones right in a 4-4-2 might be okay for instance. Aleksic or Watson/Mundle worth checking too. Even Wilson. But realistically the only way we’re likely to fit Mayenda and Isidor into the same team (particularly when ELF is back) is if one of them takes that right spot.

I have been told that before but was well before my time. Were outfield players as athletic and mobile back then?

What on earth have we got in our hands with Mayenda?

He may be the best of the lot you know, his development rate is absurd.

What a ****ing handful, what a player, and he is nowhere near finished.

An absolute monster on our hands here lads, he excites the **** out of me.

He may well end up the one we make most money on.

That's a whole different argument.
Would Puskas fit into the modern game
Would Stanley Mathew's be as good etc.

I think Patto is a decent keeper, however he can improve. Whether he improves is down to him and hard work.

Absolute Beast today if Wilson had been able to take in his through ball near the end would have been the perfect assist. I love the way he is always looking for the through ball as well and he's out them on a plate for Wilson a few times.
