The world's most prolific blood donor, whose plasma saved the lives of more than 2.4 million babies, has died in Australia.

James Harrison "generously" donated his plasma almost 1,200 times from 1954 until 2018 and was known as the "man with the golden arm".

Described as a "humanitarian" who was "proud" to have saved so many lives, he died aged 88 at a nursing home, according to his family.

That's quite some achievement. RIP

Five Star singer Stedman Pearson has tragically passed away aged 60, MailOnline can reveal.

The Eighties star enjoyed huge success with his band including notching six Top 10 singles, including hit Rain or Shine which reached No2 in the charts.

The British RnB act were formed in Romford, Essex, in 1983 and their biggest honour was winning a Brit Award in 1987 for Best Group.
