No offence to anyone, honestly, but some people on social media should think about this before blasting out posts in the heat of the moment …

… "For me, it's all right. I will try to give 100% of my quality in every game.

“The gaffer is the boss and he knows what is best for the team."

We have our own opinions and all want this signing or that signing, subs at different times, various players started/dropped/given minutes/etc and this tactic tried or that one abandoned …

… but they’re just opinions based on a fraction of the facts.

If the club are happy to sign a player carrying an injury or have an exciting signing sitting on the bench we have to trust the club in my opinion. It’s their heads on the block and, in stark reality, none of our business.

Paying £30 to go to the match doesn’t buy us the right to all of our wishes, expectations or demands.
I think it’s something that fans need to be aware of. So many criticising the club for lack of strikers in January but we’ve already got too few minutes available for the ones we have. I then look to next season and a situation where we’re likely to have 4 strikers who will want (and deserve) minutes in a team that usually plays with one up top. It’s definitely the right place to discuss this sort of thing, but it’s far too easy to just demand ‘more’ without actually having to deal with the consequences of what more will mean in reality.

Cracking game on Friday. Missed a bit of the first half and we seemed to have been a bit fortunate with a couple of decisions but we really managed the game well under pressure and were good in the last 30 minutes I thought.

I'm happy the RLB changed the team around a bit, I thought that paid off, the other lads stepped up well.

Mayenda was motm and his second goal in particular was brilliant (after a great cross from Hume).

Dan Neil was absolutely class again, especially in the build up to the goal. He's comfortably out best player these days, I don't think many in this league can touch him.

There's a lesson there for all the 'bin him off, send him back, he'll never make it' brigade.

Our players aren't just names on Football Manager, they're human beings with feelings and families.
A lesson in there for me, marra. Right now I’d happily see the incredibly underwhelming Alan Browne binned off at the earliest possible opportunity. I’ll probably be singing his name next season:emoticon-0102-bigsm

I work in Sheffield. Have had a bit of back and forth about the game. One thing all 3 lads I have chatted with said the same about Neil, he is the best CM they have seen all season. They are big fans of Shea Charles but admit there is chasm between the two. One of them reckons he will shine in a top premier league side. I tend to agree, and have thought so for a long while. He still hasnt reached his full potential either imo, more to come from him yet.

Ever since the beginning of the season I've felt content with Mayenda, which means adding Isidor was a dream and Connolly was simply a "just incase" addition, with us playing 1 up front most of the time.

**** about Danns, but thankfully the young strikers we own can deputise for both Isidor and Mayenda when they end up starting together soon. They're not gonna score every chance, but you want them in your team. People have really over-exaggerated with many of our lads, Isidor had a rough patch but every time seems to fight back, just like this team as a whole.

Then Mayenda rewarding Regis' faith in him with that performance just shows we are a strong contender still, doubt us at your own peril. Doubt these players at your own peril.

What’s happened with Danns?

What’s happened with Danns?
I'm pretty sure...

We've realised the injury, took him on anyway because he won't cost a penny till he plays, hopeful he returns before the end. But I'm guessing he'll not be back for a while. Maybe they're hoping he can come in after the internationals?

He might end up not playing at all, but we never know what could happen, we might end up losing Isidor to injury just as Danns comes back.

Wilson and mayenda up front then fit a team around them. They would absolutely terrorise defenders imo.

I like Sheff Wed, always thought they were a decent club over the years.

Sadly, I think they're in a bit of a mess these days.

As other people, who were there, have said the stadium is creaking and needs serious work or a rebuild. The facilities are pretty shabby and the organisation is all a bit tinpot. The owner seems like an absolute clown who has no idea about advancing the club or why he's there. It's admirable that the supporters keep turning up when it all looks a bit hopeless. If by any chance they make the playoffs, and promotion, it's hard to see how they could survive and, more to the point, where the money would go.

They dropped lucky with the manager but the squad, staff and administration seem a shambles.

If you analyse both games we took 6 points off them easier than the 6 we got off Luton, at least they put us under periods of pressure at their place whereas Wednesday had fleeting moments and once it went 1-2 I wasn't worried at all.
If Windass is your star striker then I'd be worried....to think we were allegedly linked to Ugbo? (spelling) as a striker option which is quite frightening.

There's definitely games where it could work brilliantly. For me it would be excellent in situations where we need to work on the break. I do wonder if it would work as well as we'd like against stubborn defensive opponents, though. When faced with 10 behind the ball it feels like we lack players who are able to create from a little deeper. Maybe getting Mundle and Watson back and in form gives us what we need. However, more bodies at the sharp end of the pitch might just mean we've got two players isolated from the play rather than one.

I'd like to see Elizer coming in from the right and linking up with Wilson...Romaine on the left. With a fit again Enzo in the middle with Jobe, and Dan holding.....to me,that is our most potent attacking line up.
