For some reason RLB thinks a 6/8 can play as a 10. There is no need to have Browne playing in that role mind. Not to mention his first start since a broken leg!

I agree with you but I’m confused by what that position does in possession full stop. Rigg has struggled to impact games in that role and now so is Browne. Reggie needs to find the right profile of player to impact from there and for me it has to be Aleksic or Mayenda

Yeah the position is killing him. However he’s also a pretty average champ midfielder in truth. Nowt we were really missing.

Browne was a good signing if Jobe and Rigg hadn’t developed as rapidly as they have. He’d have been an obvious starter for us last season but this season he just feels like a back up

In defence of the wingers I think they’re rarely supported from the full backs. Often have 2 v 1 situations in the oppositions favours.

I know but it is depth and rest options for Neil and Jobe. That's it.

I have no idea why RLB is expecting defensive CM to play as second strikers. Samed now Browne.

Can we not just play attacking players there ?

It's that right there that does my head in with Roberts. Great skill to beat a few players then the final ball is horrific. I want effective wingers not 'good to watch' wingers.

I’m glad to say I’ve been off twitter and facebook a month now and I’m so much more relaxed about Sunderland than I’ve ever been.
Would delete my FB but have f&f on there so barely post.
But there is a ugly side to fandom

Think it’s time for aleksic to start being given a chance. Been here a few months now and looks to have some real skill and pace. A lot of free hits coming up and might stumble on to something that makes a difference with him.
