Tesla has a near monopoly in US and they're still selling less than last year. There aren't any Chinese EV companies operating here. Cars and trucks is one area where tarrifs have been high for decades and as a result we have smaller variety of cars to choose from. If you want an EV it's Tesla or one or two models the traditional ICE manufacturers build domestically.

I don't think it matters, both sides just need to stop fighting. Hopefully we learn lessons from it not to make ourselves vulnerable in future when the next dictator comes along. He clearly saw what was weaknesses in us and tried to take advantage, and Russian soldiers as well as Ukranians paid a high price for that. If he wants to chat about living standards, think how much easier he could have made life for his population if he hadn't of wasted it on war.
He also said he wasn't going to invade Ukraine days before he invaded Ukraine.
That said, I think it unlikely he will attack an EU nation, he's a tyrant but not an idiot. He will only fight a fight he think he can win. That said, he might go after Moldova or someone else in Eastern Europe or Asia minor.
The real threat to Europe in the next ten years is Putin invades a country and Europe gets pulled into the war somehow.
Putin isn't a fool, hes not going to directly invade Poland or Estonian. Doesn't mean we might not be caught up though. Putin goes after Moldova and Romania might pull us into the fight.
He miscalculated in Ukraine and its cost Russia more than he could ever imagine.

But Russia clearly paid a massive price. He even might have to accept European garrisons in Ukraine ffs, the thing he specifically DIDNT want.
He emptied the prisons and even ordered a disastrous Korean take-away... he's only got the care homes left for any more Cannon fodder...
