I just don't think Selles rates him that highly otherwise he wouldn't have signed Crooks and Matazo in Jan. Some managers just like their own players

We needed players in that position as we only had Slater and Puerta playing in it

He was our player of the month in December and scored his first goal against Doncaster in January before being dropped. Very odd.
