Actually no they have never at any point been highest spenders overall.

Actually the full history of spend only doubles down on the reality in explaining.

well that’s not true, love to do a breakdown of the last 70 years since the last trophy your lot managed. Would paint a sorry return from big spending Newcastle

There's no point, Newcastle spent nothing that period and the 90's didn't actually exsist.

It is true unless you're looking at small periods of time and ignoring the starting points and impacts of consistent spending.
