Exactly. Lost both games to Norwich despite having half a team of players who would leave and go on to play in the Premier League anyway.

You mean that first game of the season where Vaughan, Ingram and Vinagre started, and Philogene and Morton hadn't even signed for us yet, or the second one where Twine, Jacob and Connolly started because Delap and Philogene were injured? And Carvalho's first game for us.

You have settled down a lot lately but you really do still come out with some dumb ****. My entire point of bringing up last season is to show how us signing 10+ players each window doesn't allow for consistency and development of the squad and Selles is struggling to settle on a side this season just as LR did last year. It's not a criticism necessarily of either manager but rather showing how difficult it can be to expect players to hit the ground running.

Can we have a rosenior rememberance thread ?? For all the tarts who can’t get over him

Think most are over him. It’s the ones that can’t appreciate he got the best out of players that according to themselves are ****.

We were one win from the playoffs & had built an excellent team ethic but if you took any notice of the history changers we finished mid-table & had a squad that should beat 1970 Brazil.

We blew it all for a Pound Shop Ted Lasso who should have been sacked before the season started but was supported fully & excessively by those determined to show LR was the problem. He wasn’t.

The problem was/is Acun, his ego, his lack of understanding of the game & his ignorant view that getting in excellent players automatically gets you promoted.

Why do people drive to football?
That’s what buses and heavy drinking were invented for!

With stagecoach putting the subsidised price up to £3 it's cheaper to travel by car around Hull, on the other hand those living in York or Scarborough can get from there to Hull for just £3 (???? confused, good to be green, and many more unanswered questions)

I get the bus to work and it’s now costing me more to do that than drive and park. Madness.

When I asked a driver about the price rise he responded by claiming it's the governments fault they increased the price. Why does no one challenge them? The council, the local MP, I quess there will be a passenger rights group somewhere, the media. It appears that no one has a fighting spirit anymore and everyone just sucks up whatever **** comes along. Myself included, done plenty of protesting in the past but now of an age when I'd rather not waste any of my time fighting a lone battle.

Tbf it used to cost me £4.50 for a single to work from the outskirts of Leeds to Beeston pre covid and the government led set pricing scheme.

I mean, the Government increased the cap but didn’t say every bus ticket price had to be £3. It’s nonsense really that a shortish one way bus journey in Hull costs £3.

But I guess this is for another place and not the match thread.
