I’m not arguing either way. I’m just saying what I think. Statistically we fouled them as much as they fouled us. Some were brutal mind. Should they have had a red card. Probably.
Which is probably why one of my first posts after the game said we did well to stand up to those filthy bastards. Red card? That idiot was steaming into a 50/50 and came out second best. If you want to lose the cup final you need to play filthy teams like that every week. They were filthy... Full Stop.
Newcastle have to learn to show up vs the middle order. It's actually not great at home for those games.
Things were worse on here last night tbh, we wanted to talk about a great game and ToonArmy1892 decides to have a meltdown and make endless posts about Birmingham being dirty, swamping the thread in crap and stopping other conversations being had. Then Chaos gets involved and the last 6 pages or so of this thread has all been an endless unrelenting convo of how dirty and filthy Birmingham were. In the real world, fans are talking about what an awesome game that was, how it was good to see us in a physically challenging game and how well we handled it, what a return Willock made, how Osula got into Birmingham and what a prospect he looks like, and what a total screamer than second Birmingham goal was.....but that's not possible here cos the thread decended into utter ****e. Nowhere else are people just talking about how dirty they were, we've played far more dirty teams, quote from Eddie Howe after the match "I like their style and I like the system they play. They’ve got some physical players as well which you need in the division that they’re in"
Stop being a boring **** and derailing threads and I will. People want to talk about the match, if you have a point it doesn't necessarily mean everyone agrees, and it doesn't mean everyone needs to hear it seven million times.
Who left it to you to decide what everyone wants to talk about? He also is talking about the match anyway because he's saying the other team were filthy. You're engaging yourself and then telling people to be quiet... Poor form and it ain't happening.
Miley did well last night. His body is too big for his head. It’s like someone stuck a child’s head on a man’s body.
He completely detailed the thread and went on and on about how dirty they were when no one was talking about it, then you joined in and the thread was totally swamped and it was impossible for people to talk about what they wanted, ie they interesting parts of that match, as it was a great match. He was being a tedious broken record saying the same thing hundreds of times over. The irony of you saying "Who left it to you to decide what everyone wants to talk about?" is that he was deciding what everyone wants to talk about by forcing his **** on the thread and making endless posts about it. And besides people weren't even agreeing, everyone thought it was a good physical battle of a game and it was good to see us performing like we did in a game like that, particularly the likes of Osula who got properly stuck into them, and gives us a lot of hope for him for the future. Had Birmingham not been physical, we potentially would not have seen that from Osula.
Good point re Osula and the physical side. He looked good yesterday. Wilson getting minutes under his belt is also good.
