I thought it was weird how dependent we were on him under Martin, never felt comfortable with it.

Bednarek should have been captain since JWP left.

Still can't believe that we got relegated in 2005 with a from 3 of Phillips, ,Crouch and Camara. Just give us one of those today

Yeah you're probably right. But the contrast between Bednarek's and Downes' reactions is extremely eye-opening.

Agree on Bednarek. Only, I've always liked him. Has his flaws, but he's had to deal with a revolving door of crap and inexperienced CB partners over the last few years. In the right pairing, he can be a quality defender.

It’s a bit unreal isn’t it? Guy comes in to pit of worms and snakes, and just like that we expect him to produce a gourmet meal. Martin has had a massive impact on the the players performance and returning them into a style more in keeping with their abilities (some with less ability than others) is not done in 6/7 weeks. Koeman was an excellent manager for us but on this board people were after his head just before Christmas because of the run of less than satisfactory results.

The club have yet again appointed a manager that isn’t good enough to manage us. Simple as. The guy is a ****ing buffoon. That line up and his tactics today were absolutely ridiculous.

When the entire centre of the pitch is devoid of our players, and the manager does nothing about it, you know you’ve appointed a complete dud.

I cannot agree with this. If we had converted one of rhe chances in the first half it would have been game over. We do not have a decent front line amongst the players who are available. Juric is not a buffoon but it qoukd be a miracle if anyone could transform the current squad.

After all the managers we’ve had, who couldn’t turn the players into an effective unit, who is the magician who can? Which magician who can, will want to sort out this apology for a club? Not having a go, just asking anyone with more football knowledge than me, tell us who?

I’m sure there is someone out there who could organise us and make us defensively solid. Or more solid.

Obviously Everton’s squad is better than ours but look at what moyes has done since he came in. Not expecting miracles but I don’t think this squad should be among the PL worst.

Of course the players are poor too.

But playing a back 5 against a championship side… playing full backs at centre back and leaving actual centre backs on the bench…no striker on the pitch

Aribo and Lesley as defensive midfielders in a 2 , but seemingly told to just run around like headless chickens..

Honestly a lot of this stuff is completely indefensible

Okay, what is your answer. We have a manager trying g to put out a competitive team without the players. But after a few games without the players you have decided he is compmete ****, when out the side of your mouth you talk about the owners being dreadful, which is it Johnny two face. Is it the manager, the team or do you just hate everyone

Yeah today was a shocker. Even Martin beat championship sides! This was a heavily rotated Burnley too.
