A good manager would work with what he's got and change tactics/formation/style accordingly. SR recruitment policy seems to be only offering interviews to those who absolutely refuse to have any sort of plan B.

TBF he did try something different today. Just it turns out that was **** too.

When you have very average journeyman footballers like Aribo who wander back and don't put challenges 2nd tier teams will have chances to score - and they do!
Thought Joe and Wely were the stand out players. Joe isn’t a gifted footballer but he does a job wherever he plays. Wely seems to be everywhere on the pitch. Unfortunately effort is not the same as talent. Game went to plan, Burnley’s plan.

No big shakes, but a bit worried it might kill any momentum we may have gained from last week.

I would be concerned for next season, but I think it depends on the forward situation. Right now we have one of the worst forward lines the PL has ever seen and Burnley have one of the best defences in EFL history so its not an entirely unpredictable result.

This.

Agree with the above though, would rather have Welly at FB than Dogface.

Still don’t blame Juric tbh. Put in an impossible situation with players that essentially had any footballing instinct wholeheartedly drilled out of them by our previous manager. There are zero leaders on the pitch when th8ngs go wrong and our back line is lead by our most experienced player yet has zero leadership qualities and hides away and shrugs his arms when things go wrong.

Add **** all transfers in attack other than a 20 year old to that and I don’t know what magical turn around people were expecting.

Those who think we'll walk it next season, has this changed your mind? Without 10s of millions in investment and a 5th Manager in 3 years to pay off we're ****ed. And Sports Republic simply cannot afford it.

Sign up for more of the same next season. Can't ****ing wait.

This. We were absolutely ****e before. We're still absolutely ****e now. This bloke was never turning our ****show around.

Blood on the hands of SR.

Juric is clueless. Sack the prick and put the u21s guy back in charge.
Thought Juric would be a boost and get Saints firing but the only thing I can see that has changed is that we've stop giving needless goals away by fannying around with it at the back. Attacking wise we are just as bad as under RM - perhaps the quality is that dire that he's totally hamstrung?
