Personally, I'm not sure how people can keep giving SR chance after chance to be honest.

They ****ed us over 2 years ago.
They've ****ed us over even harder this season.
I don't want to give them another chance to redeem themselves and **** my club over even more. I've given them another chance, and they've ****ed it twice as hard. Once bitten, twice shy and all that.

Fresh start please, get them all gone.
Do we just get new owners when we get relegated then? Are they becoming as expendable as managers?

Home now. **** VAR :emoticon-0159-music

I really do hate it so much I struggle to put it into words, twice in six days it's infuriated me. Never heard our fans sing against it so loudly so suspect I'm not alone.

Next season can't come quickly enough tbh.

Why was it even disallowed? Looked to me in the ground like it came off the Newcastle mush. The screen said something like 'no factual evidence' which suggest it was inconclusive which surely means you stick with onfield decision? ****s.

Anyway 3-1 not a terrible result tbh.

Not read anything, still at the game. KWPs last game based on the way he was after the final whistle.

What happened? I stood by an exit for the final 2 minutes and was gone as soon as the whistle went.

Because we have an owner that cares, that is willing to spend money, and is willing to make changes until he gets it right.

Give me that over Chansiri types every day of the week.

Spending money doesn't equal success though. We've spent **** loads and are the worst PL team in history. That's just embarrassing as I'm sure you'll agree.

I take your point its good to have an owner who is willing to change it up when its going wrong, but for me, its just too little too late.

The fact he appointed the clowns in the 1st place should be a red flag as to his judgement, in my opinion, and i have little to no faith it'll get much better with the next round of appointments.

Happy to be proven wrong of course, but I just have little faith right now that he'll get it right.

Armstrong has contributed nothing as usual

The number of times he points to where he wants the ball, and makes the run, only for our other players to not see it, I feel sort of sorry for him.

If he played with a James Maddison/Bruno G type of player, he'd get so many chances.

Obviously he'd miss those chances, but the point is, we haven't had a decent creative midfielder since Tadic.

Yeah I didn't think he was anywhere near as bad as many made out today. Thought the reaction when his number went up was shameful tbh.

Based on what?
Based on it's his money he's investing. I just don't think the turbulence of changing owner again will help the club at all. It will take months, potentially longer and I feel the best option is to let Solak fix the errors that other people have made on his behalf. And the first step was appointing a DoF, which work permit permitting, he's done.

I'm actually quite happy that SR have accepted we're down and have resisted the urge to make pointless and expensive panic buys like last time. Just got to see out this season and move on in the summer.

Where we can buy more failed City youth players? Maybe if we really splash the cash we can buy another Ross Stewart. I don't get it, SR have shown time and time again that they haven't the first clue.

Why are we all assuming it's going to be any different next time? They've consistently demonstrated that they can't/won't learn from mistakes. Dragan has already taken the reigns and appointed Juric. What a breath of fresh air he's been. <laugh>

Juric is clearly a short term appointment. Smart move IMO.

Hopefully so, he’s stunk the place out most of the season and we aren’t staying up so we might as well try to get £5m and his wages off the books. He killed a few attacks today with his dawdling.

A shame as he was excellent for us up until this year, even when the side was struggling. Imagine he won’t get the kind of move he may have been looking at once upon a time.

Because those failings were Wilcox/Ankersen/Kraft inspired ones. Solak has seen that and those three aren’t effectively at Saints now. That’s good stewardship, but he had to give them enough rope before making that cull. Granted, Wilcox left of his own accord, but he’s now effectively completely changed the executive team, because they failed.

On his watch.

He appointed them in the first place! Ultimately I've always believed in those at the top should carry the can when things go tits up. Especially when they go repeatedly tits up. (not very British, I know)

Absolutely. He’s made mistakes. But he didn’t appoint Kraft and Ankersen - they came to him with a project for his money. He had to give them some time.

I may be mad, but I personally think Solak is a good owner who hasn’t quite found the right blend for the exec team yet.
