What a joy to watch that last half hour or so. Lloyd was brilliant holding it up and running their centre-halves ragged when Kolli was having no joy and no help from the ref. Saito’s goal was something else if you haven’t seen it but his other play was a delight and the game was really quite comfortable even after they scored.
Huge shout out to Edwards and Fox who complemented each other very well. Dunne was once again extremely solid after a slightly shaky start but we’re used to it now. Varane excellent second half after a dodgy first IMO and Field did little wrong. Not really Chair’s day and it was right to cull him early.

I hope that's a piss take. The guy Is a disgrace. There was a moment near the end Lloyd was tackled on the floor, the ball broke loose and Madsen just stood there looking at the ball, eventually a Hull player who initially was overcome by the fact that Madsen didn't move got the ball and started an attack. He made zero Tackles, walked around the pitch and played 4 2ft sideways passes. Instead of coming out of Hull being overcome with joy, I was fuming that this guy has the nerve to play like that. Do the decent thing and quit
Ashby will get the attention because of his role in their goal having given the ball away similarly shortly before and then being hooked but yeah we all feared the worse when the second round of subs came on and it was worse than we joked it would be. They were both abysmal in their own ways- Ashby for being noticeably dire and Madders for being noticeably unnoticeable.
But, honestly, enjoy the good bits. We got away with it and hopefully Cifuentes learns from his mistakes. Colback seemed the logical option.
Credit to him though for making the first subs early rather than hope it got better and burn another ten minutes or even go a goal down to that dross. In a world of five subs it’s silly not to but we made the move first and it paid off

Hey now, MADSEN smashed the ball away once, topping all his other performances by a country mile. He should be made captain for the inspiration and enthusiasm he shows in a game. Compare his cameo to that of Lloyd, 2 players trying to make an impression on the manager to warrant a place in the team. MADSEN is a lazy, useless, ineffective footballer proving to be a complete waste of our tight budget.

Steady on Rangers! I know we wished for a top ten finish this season but nobody actually expected you to do it. Now we are all going to be saying "only 4 points from the play offs" and raising hopes yet again.
