I generally shrug of bad decisions but that was way beyond human error. Who made the decision to disallow it cos it wasn't the ref or lino. It wasn't a foul by Isidor and the ref never gave that and was standing there right beside it. It wasn't offside as the linesman never flagged and ran back towards halfway line.as if goal. So has a fourth official overruled everyone and disallowed the goal which in itself is a complete joke and surely not right. Questions need to be asked.
The one who was talking the most at the end of the match was the lino from the other half. Honestly think he’s given it!

Think I've calmed dwn from the goal

I thought the 2nd half was shocking from us tbh, we didn't get our foot on the ball enough and again I thought the subs took too long to happen. The minute Samed came on we seemed to get better control of it, should have happened earlier as Rigg and Le Fee weren't offering anything

Thought o9 and Mepham did well at the back, and I did like the change to get Ballard on - thought he did well when he came on. Hume I thought was poor again, got beat far too easily and just didn't block crosses

Jobe class 1st half but he struggled in the 2nd, thought Neil was OK in the 1st but he really upped his game in the 2nd - carried the ball well and won tackles

Patterson probably gets my motm over jobe (just), thought he was class with everything he did - even his passing was good tonight

So pleased for Mayenda, 9 goal contributions this season is class for a 19 yr old who has had to play multiple positions

Felt for isidor with the disallowed goal, I like that he is getting chances but I want to see more with his back to goal. He should have been bullying those defenders tonight and he didn't, he needs to offer more into feet than he does - hope if we do sign a striker that they are good at this

It's 3 points and we move onto Saturday

If that was the case, why didn't he put his flag up? There was no action from the linesman and the referee was walking back to the centre circle. **** them both we still won!

He may well have done eventually off camera. Would love to see the actual wide shot all the way thru to when it’s disallowed. Bear in mind the commentators aren’t at the game for these sky sports + streams so they only see what we see.

still shocking obviously, just offering a perspective on what might have happened

they’re gonna be so embarrassed watching it tonight

But they were, fought for 90 minutes.
Does that say as much about us as it does them though? Of course, no game in this division is easy but we either make them easier or teams raise their game against us or sense blood.
Anyway, 3 points and move on and as the manager will say, we'll learn from it. Hope we do!

Haway ya buggers. Talk of corruption and investigation into the ref is a bit Netflix like.

Officials are in comms. My first thought is a bit of a handball in the mele. Then maybe obstruction by Isidor. Neither would have been great, but their is some sense of logic.

Reality is a genuine mistake. A bit like our players making genuine mistakes. It happens. Imagine if officials sacked it off for getting grief about mistakes. There would be no game. Players do not kmow the rules...

You have your eyes closed for half hour in second half? Would have liked a bit more control to keep my nerves in check anyway
We didn’t ‘struggle’ mind. Or at least we weren’t hugely tested. The two Patto saves were somewhat for the cameras. They had lots of corners that didn’t amount to much and one free header.

Also... 442 doesn't work for us when we don't have natural wide players. I didn't like the system with the players on the pitch and I thought it actually hampered our creativity tonight
Especially against their 3 at the back system.

yeh I think it’s clear the linesman has just made a huge error in thinking Isidor was offside from the initial pass. He kept his flag down because it was ELF who got onto the pass originally, had his shot saved and then Isidor put it in.

the ref and Lino will then have been in discussion about whether the original pass counted as this phase of play and then decided it did at which point the Lino said Isidor was offside, so the ref blew for it.

They got it wrong, and it could have cost us. But it didn’t. We move on.

Didn't realise but makes sense

Would have been fine with Roberts there imo. We just didn’t have enough drive down the right.
