They were absolutely ****e yday. I wasn't going to watch it as I thought they would get a comfortable win. The players must have thought that too, out fought and ran everywhere across the pitch. Bournemouth were great. Enjoyed watching it <laugh>
Just watched MOTD highlights, Bournemouth hit the post, missed a sitter and had a goal disallowed as well. Fantastic :emoticon-0102-bigsm

You’d have been buzzing on your way back to Bournemouth wouldn’t you.

That was a great away performance by committed young lads playing lovely football who worked hard for each other …

… and without the awful gamesmanship you see from some clubs.

I'm hoping to see summat similar at Derby on Tuesday.

I met Jeff once, the day that I appeared on Look North regarding 'fighting' for my boy's 'special' school . . . . that's another story that this has just reminded me about (I've probably got it taped somewhere :emoticon-0112-wonde), which is when he told me that he was 'one of us' . . . . I was 'chuffed as muck' and I've smiled when I've seen him on telly ever since :emoticon-0100-smile
Yeh as been said he’s retired but still doing a bit coverage of our games for the BBC,Roker lad born and bred

They're at it today at work, consoling themselves on the fact we missed 2 pens. Not talking about being out of the title race lol
Think I prefer two individual wrong strikes of a ball but still drawing away ( and arguably bettering) a team supposedly better than us, than getting wallopped at home to a team supposedly inferior that you'd no doubt thought was going to be an easy 6-0 walkover

Having said that above, I was told last night that Twat Trafford (I think I've got his first name right, but I'm not sure) had already signed an agreement to become a skunk in the summer, the skunks having already paid a deposit for him (£1.6m sounds familiar, but I was drinking) :emoticon-0112-wonde
Surely that can’t be legal? What is the difference between that and tapping up?

I mean, as they are pretty much the worst time wasters in the game, he’ll fit in perfectly!

I'd guess it's the same as they sign him and loan him back. Just this time the registration hasn't been done. Personally I hope his next **** is a hedgehog and that he has diarrhea with it.

My turn today, met up with cousins' husband and daughter. Never interested in football until daughters junior school age son caught the Keegan mania. Very occasional attendance at Sid James has just been every few years for a pre season friendly or a £10 3rd round cup ticket. Soon as got backside onto seat '' so did you go to the match to see the two missed penalties?'' (knowing fine well it was an away game that I wouldn't have been at).
Yes I should have just got sarcastic and said it was a bad weekend for the north east, then mentioned Boro's game first then said ''and as for Newcastle!-- well ! oh, did you go?'' If it had been two blokes who do go, then fine, lets do the banter,, but just couldn't be bothered to entertain them

Dunno if you know the pub The Pack Horse on the way to Dipton. I go past it on the way to and from work, and today they've put a big newcastle flag outside, on a proper flag pole as well.
Me and the Mrs sometimes go in for food, but that's two customers they've lost now.
