On Riis, he's definitely giving Stern John vibes. Sensible signing for a run-in. Worst case he's a different option for another run next season. Best case we've kept our powder dry for a proper PL signing!
Or if we can pick him up at a knock down price he could be our next Ross Stewart. Similar build and style.
Will trust our recruitment on this. If he was setting the league on fire he would be out of our price range. But recruitment has been very canny of late maybe there is something about the lad they think fits the system and we can develop.
Does a Frigan or a Riis not ultimately make more sense? Cannon would expect to start and I can't see us not playing Wilson as the main man. The others look more like alternatives to Wilson.
Liverpool have made Jayden Danns available for loan until the end of the season. I think we should be all over that. He’s looked very good in his few appearances for their first team.
If he catches fire for us even better. I just look at a potential fallback of having Riis, Isidor, Mayenda, Abdellahi and Ogunsuyi as our strikers for next season and I'd be pretty confident that they'd be sufficient for us to challenge - even if all he ends up being is a style alternative.

I have seen Riis a fair few times now and the only thing I recall is that he tends to go missing sometimes. I do think he is probably a very good and realistic bench/back up option though

Coventry spent about £10m on Wright and they’ve never had parachute payments. I think we could compete for the signing but only if he was going to be our main man, it doesn’t make sense to spend that kind of money on a player you aren’t going to build a team around at this level.

Give your head a wabble man! We can't sign everyone and just to clear it up the club can't be all talk when they have said **** all about signing Cannon or anyone else! Club never says anything until.the signing is done!
