I just tried to avoid the we thing.. firstly I'm not playing and secondly I'm saying the players are they... not the manager or any of that either.

Yeah, I know mate, I get it's not literally "us" as in you and I playing. But when we are generally talking NUFC vs another club, then it's just wayyyy simpler to use:

"we/us/our" = NUFC
vs
"they/them/their" = opposition
