I've also got a tenner on Nix to throw for 300+ yards and Cook to rush for 90+ yards at 20/1 so a good start there.

Think the Bills win easily personally, but NFL/playoffs so we’ll see

    And so it proved unfortunately

Ideally Packers and Commanders win the games later from a Vikings perspective. At least gives a shot at a home game if they can beat the Rams.

Think the Commanders might win but confident the Eagles and Rams win comfortably the other 2

Hopefully the Ravens-Bills game will be on at a UK friendly time.

Packers are going to get battered which is always nice, even if it’s against the Eagles

So if the Vikings win tonight they will play the Eagles away in the playoffs again. Feel like I’ve seen this before

Yeah of course, I fancy the rams to win pretty easily anyway but now the opponent for whoever wins is known.

I also see you didn’t get your wish about the Ravens and Bills, 11:30 on Sunday

This has gone pretty much exactly as expected, tonight. Hope the divisional round is better...!

Well, Darnold has just played his way out of a big pay day. In the two huge games he's been awful. I don't see the Vikings even using the franchise tag on him now. He'll get another deal from someone, but it will be probably be for 20mill a year rather than 40+ a year had he delivered tonight.

Well that went even worse than I thought it would and I thought it would be a blowout.

Darnold reverting back to the mean of his career in the last 2 games and proving he isn’t the answer. 14 win seasons mean nothing if you can’t win when it actually matters and being that bad in 2 “must win” games in a row has probably cost him millions. That first half is probably the worst I’ve ever seen a Vikings QB play and I watched the Josh Freeman performance.

Off season will be interesting, lots of things to figure out. The Vikings will probably re-sign Darnold firstly and foremost knowing them

Sadly I can't argue with that. I think all but one of the sacks were because he was so indecisive and held onto the ball far too long. He even got an extra opportunity thanks to the roughing the kicker penalty on a punt. It's not even he didn't know what was coming! Rams did the same thing in the regular season.

Yeah went exactly how most people expected it to, O’Connell was useless again and made no changes in the game to change the trajectory the match was obviously heading from about 5 mins in. No changes from the Lions or Rams previous losses, looking more and more like someone who can’t win in big games either and doesn’t have that “It” factor/ruthlessness that the best coaches do have. Lot of talk about not extending him this off season and letting him walk, won’t happen though.

The defence didn’t turn up at the start and couldn’t get close to the Rams which let them get off to a quick start which was all they ultimately needed to win the game. It’s what happens when you have old as **** (by NFL standards) players all across the defence in a sport where athleticism is 99% of the game.

Darnold was Darnold and couldn’t deal with the pressure of a big game. The O line was tragic as well but I’m sure they won’t do anything about it as they never have prioritised it in my time watching them. All the best teams have great O line and D line play, the edge has been good (possibly from blitzing every play making them look better than the talent suggests) but the O line is one of the worst in the league, again.

The Vikings were the Vikings in big game prime time moments and choked, like they always do. The owners won’t be bothered and point to a 14 win season and extend everybody and next year will be worse. Not really looked too much at cap space or free agents yet as that is the only way they can add talent as they have no draft picks as they have given them all up to achieve last nights masterclass.

The good news is Vikings have ****load of cap space. Until they waste over 40mill of it by tagging Darnold. Hopefully what they will do is spread that money around on positions of real need (a fairly young, good CB for example) and the O line to help McCarthy.

Of course, it would be typical if we were the only team that drafted a first round QB in the last draft to get a dud. All the others that got drafted early (maybe excluding Penix as he hasn't played enough yet) look very good.

Like Saints the Vikings love breaking records for how **** they can be, so yeah wouldn’t surprise me at all. The drafting has been terrible since Kwesi came in as well so based on that it’s far more likely McCarthy is **** than good. Could be another Bridgewater as well where an injury completely ruins him which would also be typical

Well that was actually pathetic. I was watching the replay on dazn and got to the fumble recovery touchdown, then skipped forward a bit and just saw the score get worse.

Honestly Sam needs to learn to throw the fricking ball away and not take the sack every fricking time.

But like us in the playoffs, I hope Sam is one and done here. He had some hot moments, but the last two weeks he was **** and I remember Tottenham where the only way we could move the ball on offense was through pass interference calls (admittedly Jones was out at that point but we should be able to do something in the pass game even despite that). Plus the Jags game, and others. Roll on JJ McCarthy

I don't often get mad about Vikings games but this is one of those occasions

I understand the pessimism but there's absolutely no indication that JJ is a dud at this point. Just because other QBs were not duds, does not mean that JJ is going to be one.
