I helped organise a private coach that night to take us straight from work. Got to Belle Vue early to be escorted onto the car park by the police, surrounded with dogs and shoved straight into the ground. Which was an open terrace surrounded by barbed wire.
I attempted to scale the fence because I resent being told where I can and can't go, I was only early 20's, and ripped the back off my sheepskin jacket.

It was one of those odd nights when thousands turn up at an away game and no one knew why, we were regularly taking as many as 50 or 100 to away league games.

When's the draw?
Should City get through this afternoon, they'll be ball number 18 in the draw for the fourth round which will take place after Arsenal's game against Manchester United later today.
